Yep, I have the commercial version (24"x36") of it hanging on my wall signed by Dave Prowse, next to ESB, ROTJ, and TFA which are all signed by Peter Mayhew and are all full-size theater originals (27"x41")...ROTJ is an "Australian One Sheet".

The original SW (ANH) posters are relatively hard to come by at a decent price, but can be miraculously obtained from sellers that have little idea what they have.

My ESB poster is the 1981 Re-Release poster that I found for $35, and the ROTJ original Australian (folded) One-Sheet I obtained for less than $50...both came from folks that just thought they were regular posters left behind by their kids while cleaning out the closet. Keep in mind that it took me 10 years to obtain both of these.

Do your homework, KNOW exactly how to spot one, and they can be had....but it takes patience, and I want one of these...badly! :)

I still remember the feeling that it gave me when I first gazed at it when I was 10 years old.....

I'd love to see a future movie (or show!) visually reference the X-Wing formation from this poster. I love how it's just a solid wave of fighters.

    Actually, this one is:

"Once ago in a far future" and it got the droids right (okay, Germany had time to fix these until the premiere of February 1978) ;)

Droids aren't quite right. Luke's shirt was never open like that. Mark Hamill only dreamed of being that jacked. Leia's outfit was nothing like that really. What is that, Kylo Ren's lightsaber?!?

2.5/10 full of plot holes and continuity errors.

Thanks. We had a jigsaw puzzle version of that in the '70s.

Well they got Luke and Leia down.
But...Vader doesn't have a popped collar. I guess Alden Ehrenrich DID play Han Solo at some point.
    Jawas have impotent lasers
    Vader uses a butane torch....

One of my favorites too. Missing him, I moved to Europe so this poster, TESB (gone with the wind) and ROTJ (blue saber) are locked in one room of my appartment there in brazil....

But I will buy others, framed it and put in the walls here now. I'll start with this one that I already consider a classic:

I find this one interesting to think about why it existed.

But this one just takes me back straight to the 80's.
Not because it was the one in our town, but because the style is so pronounced in the 80's photo-painting form.
    Just looks cool...and odd.

    Cheers,
    Jayson

Never seen it before the white one.

The polish poster for ROTJ I just love. One day I will buy this one too.

I love that poster! That is on the cover of my Betamax copy of ANH.

    I also like this poster.

Couldn’t agree more with the OP more. I’ve owned that poster since I was six years old when a friend of the family who owned a local theatre took it out of it’s display case and hand it to me. It’s in the same pristine condition it was in 1977...Love that poster!

Wow!!! This one and the others two. I grew up watching these VHS!! I bought all of them back in 1995 when they release the mastered version. I still have them!!!
I recall the interviews of GL and the X-Files trailler. Such a good memories.

Exactly the same for me, they have a prime place in my Star Wars collection (the middle one, ESB,was a gift from my mother for my birthday, really my first Star Wars posession). I completely forgot about the Leonard Martin interview and the X-Files trailer. OMG..........good you mention this, because I'm having all sorts of nostalgia feelings now. :) I could dream this movie!

The box art always had a dreamlike quality for me. Especially the Empire Strikes Back one with the red planet, the clouds and the swampt trees in the background. I'd love to see some prequel and sequel versions of these.

Yeah. I love the art as well. The artist is Alvin I guess.
I would like to see some of this style for the prequels and sequels too.
