    Me too. He died in 2008. He has a lot of great arts very known actually. I didnt know he was the same artist of the 1995 vhs covers.

    I bought a mini version of ROTJ polish poster at amazon.de. I love these weird piece of art.
    Anyone here knows a good site with cheap prices to buy posters here in Europe? I live in Luxembourg and I would like to buy more but at amazon.de they are too expensives.

    Personally I prefer the Chantrell artwork over the one from the Hildebrand Brothers.

    German audiences were familiarized with the Chantrell artwork through the Panini sticker album:

    However, in Italy it looked rather like Flash Gordon, IMHO:

    These were the only two European sticker albums for ANH at the time AFAIK. For ESB there was a sticker album but it was exclusively available in the UK.

    I love the poster, but it's always cracked me up how ripped Luke is in it.

    It's hilarious to think of Hammil like that, and it really doesn't even fit Luke's character either.

    I think that is where they got the idea for POTF2 Luke Skywalker. download (1).jpeg For that I say it's not my favorite poster. Very unrealistic. I like the mid 90s posters/vhs sleeves.     Great post!
    Absolutely one of my favourite movie posters of all time, without a doubt. Pure art, and pure magic, like you said. Just love it, that's why I have framed in my house ;) It's also in the cover of the Star Wars The Original Soundtrack Anthology, one of my greatest items from my collection.

    Some of the Drew Struzan movie posters are in my top list too, but in Star Wars Universe I always had predilection for this Empire one.
