I like the work you have done on the exhaust trails from the fighters, gives everything a good sense of direction and movement. :)

I like those but weren't those pretty much the predecessors to The X-Wings ?

One could argue that the Z-95 Headhunters were the predecessors to the X-Wings. But seeing as we didn't see any Z-95's in any of the Prequel films, only in TCW TV series. I gather that Lucas wanted us to believe that the ARC 170's were in fact the X-Wings original predecessor. Its funny though, the ARC 170 looks more modern, aesthetic & could hold up to 3 people per fighter. The X-Wing however looks like an old ancient star fighter, but it had fantastic maneuverability. Guess they just sacrificed looks for performance when Incom build the X-Wing. Not to say that it was better in performance than the 170, both were probably equality measured in that regard. Its just that the X-Wing looks like a much older design, considering it was built in the 'future' after the ARC 170. lol :p

I posted the original drawing here above, but I went ahead and drew a background for the trooper. I decided to make at a 'novel cover' type picture as I have done with all of my other works ive posted here. This Clone obviously went on to join the Rebellion & I'd like to think that he was preparing to fight in the Battle Of Yavin in this picture. Which he ended up greatly helping the Rebellion's efforts in successfully destroying the first Death Star. Along side him is his loyal sidekick companion, a re programmed B1 Battle droid. (Haven't thought of a name for either of them yet, but working on it Aha). I'm also thinking of writing a fanfic novel on this particular clone, as well as some past and current artworks on other characters I'm working on too, one of which includes of of my favourite Jedi Quinlon Vos, which I'll probably upload next. Anyway, let us know what you think of this one :D

Always thought that Luke's first encounter with the spirit of his father Anakin at the end of ROTJ, wasn't the only one he had. This could be proven otherwise in the next two movies, but I decided to make a photo showing Anakin visiting his exiled son, Luke, on Ach-To :)

No doubt my favourite Clone and easily in my top 5 favourite Star Wars characters of all time. Made this because Filoni mentioned at the Season 2 fianle of Star Wars: Rebels. That he believes that captain Rex IS infact the bearded old man thats part of Han Solo's shield generator strike team on Endor in ROTJ. And he will make it so that he will be. So happy that they actually decided to make this fan theory real and so glad that we know now that Rex goes on to fight in the Battle Of Endor and he survives Rebels :D

Always thought that the voice actors for Hera (Vanessa Marshall) & Jedi Knight Kanan Jarrus (Freddie Prinze Jr) on Rebels, looked much like there character's from in the show. So I made this :)

That's pretty cool...yeah a lot of animation artists use the expressions/facial appearance of the voice artists with the most glaring example I can think of off the top of my head are Yoda and Poe from the Kung Fu Panda movies where he looks very similar to Jack Black .

Nice pic my friend. As much as I would have liked the idea of Anakin visiting Luke during his exile, I really hope they never let us know it happened. The reason behind this is because to me, that would make Luke seem like even more of a loser than he already seems to be in TFA. Now, this comment has nothing to do with the fact of me liking TFA or not but think about it for a moment. SW was mainly the story about Luke and he was awesome. Luke was a fantastic character that was real lifelike. He was so full of hope and he was so heroic yet he was so full of flaws contrary to Rey who is incredibly perfect at everything.

When we meet Luke, he was just a whinny farm boy that didn't even want to get involved in the conflict of the Rebelion vs the Empire yet his destiny led him right there. Luke was brave but impulsive and he was shortsighted and had his fears but the one thing I mostly loved about Luke was his love for his friends. Even after being warned by both Ben Kenobi and Yoda, Luke completely abandoned his training for the love of his friends. He was brave in fighting Vader yet instead of being Force pumped with guy power and beating Vader in his first duel, Luke lost and it literally cost him his hand.

Once again, Luke, motivated by the love for his friends, comes up with a crazy plan that had so many imperfections that if Ben would have been there, he would have taken back his words and he would have said he really believed in luck. Just think about it for a second and analize all the things that could have gone wrong with Luke's plan. Jabba could have happily exchanged R2 and C3PO for Han and Luke would have lost both his droids and his lightsaber. Or what if EV-9D9 had not decided to send R2 to the sail barge? When he made his plan and stuck his lightsaber in R2, Luke didn't know that he and R2 would end up at the same place when he needed his saber. R2 could have easily been left in the dungeon and the Sarlacc would have eaten our heroes just fine and Leia would have learned if humans could have Hutt babies. What if Jabba would have decided to toss Leia to the Rancor for freeing Han? Luke had no idea that Jabba needed a replacement dancing girl so what were the odds of she being alive when Luke finally arrived?

He almost killed his own father whom he was trying to save and in a fit of rage no less the very moment that he saw that his sister could be put in danger. We see all these things and yet it goes to show us the risks that Luke was willing to take for those he loved. He had his merits yet he had his flaws but nothing could stand in the way of Luke doing whatever he had to do in order to be there for those he loved.

Enter TFA. Here we see a cowardly Luke who abandoned his friends and family which he had risked so much for in the past just because his freaky John Travolta clone nephew was a loser who wanted to be bad and he murdered his students. Luke ran away from it all and he didn't even leave his loved ones a way to get to him. Kylo Ren was his problem and Luke just left his trash for others to clean and he just turned tale and ran. Han Solo, the very best friend he had risked so much to save in the past is now dead thanks to Luke being a coward.

Enter the Force Ghost theory. If indeed they would have appeared to Luke, what would they have said? Wouldn't they have tried to goad Luke into action? They know that because of Luke's inaction the Force was dormant so wouldn't they have tried to convince him to take action? Wouldn't Yoda have tried to aid Luke? Wouldn't Anakin have tried to help Luke see he was making a mistake by turning tail and letting Snoke burn down the galaxy? Yet if this were to have happened, we would see that Luke was just to busy mopping to even care as it had to fall on Rey's hands to finally be the one to get Luke to do something and sadly to me, this would ruin Luke as a character even more.

Thanks! I see where your coming from. But Luke wasn't the main central character of the original 6 films, it was Anakin Skywalker. The chosen one who brought balance to the force. Now, granted Lucas probably intended Luke to be the main star of the films at first. But once he saw the popularity of what Darth Vader had amougst fans that most likely outweighed Luke popularity , he decided to make him the main focus of the films instead. All 6 original films are about the fall and redemption of the chosen one, Anakin Skywalker. His son, was just there basically to help guide him to his destiny and back to the light. Luke Skywalker is still a great character though, no doubt.

With the Luke and Rey comparison however, I do agree. I didn't like TFA for numerous reasons. But probably one of the main reasons why I didn't, was because Rey was so very unrelateable, compared to Anakin & Luke. Anakin & Luke made mistakes and had certain flaws as they were both learning throughout there lives. Rey on the other hand, felt like you were being forced to like her because she had no flaws and was perfect at everything. It really took me out of it because it made her completely unrelateable because she was basically Superman from the get go.
