In space...everyone can hear your TIE fighter go "WHHHHHRRRRRRRAAAAAAAAAAAAOOOOOOOWWWWWW".
(my attempt at deep space TIE sound Doppler effect....)

What happens if your ship is hit by a missile filled with Buzz Droids? Does the missile explode like a normal one would or will it just release the Buzz Droids on impact? We could see the missiles detonate so we know that they did carry explosive material so why would you waste a ton of money on a missile that when they explode against a ship you loose all your droids?

Flight controls are exactly the same in all vehicles... there's no looking around for that elusive switch to activate the SatNav or 'entertaining' crunches as you mash the the gearbox of a different craft

Whatever its size, the gravity is the same on every planet.

Whatever its atmosphere, every planet also contains 20% oxygen.

Oxygen is everywhere in the GFFA, allowing explosions and fire in space. Note, that explains there can be sound in space.

Hah! I see where you're coming from. They've actually done a better job showing the technological progress in the GFFA using the new canon in comparison to Legends, but I suppose the argument still stands. I guess you could say that the technology in the Star Wars universe advanced to such a stage that only small increments of progress could be made, as opposed to it growing under an exponential curve - or alternatively, maybe they are hitting that curve as we approach the movies. Take hologram tech, for example: you had it in static blue for over a millennia - and suddenly, it's in full color!

All planets have a single ecosystem - desert, snow, swamp, forest, jungle, rocks in a sea... these GFFA types would have an aneurysm if they came to Earth and saw we had it all on one world! ...Especially the rebels, having trouble adapting the T-47's to the cold? Sorry chaps, you've gotta go on patrol from northern Norway to Egypt, so it needs to work it arctic, temperate and tropical climes! :D

In that GFFA, they could travel beyond light speed, they were able to construct gigantic vessels and travel from a solar system to another, they had several sorts of droids with an elaborated AI that allowed them to speak, understand and respond to humen. They even had some of these droids that were able to make surgery and replace an entire hand by a robotic one. They had bacta to reconstruct bodies...

... but they were totally unable to inform a (future) mother she was about to have twins.

So how does a single planet orbit a binary star system?
    --- Double Post Merged, May 16, 2017 ---
So when do we get matter transporters and the holodeck in SW?

A planet is pulling stars instead of the other way around.

Not know how gravity works, Master Lucas does. How embarrassing, how embarrassing.

OK how could we miss this one.....in the SW universe, all spacecraft inexplicably have steam-driven doors.

    13. Jyn in Rebel Rising is given her scarf to cover her kyber crystal by Saw. One she does not take off for years In Rogue One, she does not have a scarf on in the Prison Transportation shuttle; however after her rescue she has a scarf again. Same One? Rebels gave her a scarf?

Blaster bolts, like lightsabers, are made of plasma, not light. :p

That still brings up a point with SW. We know plasma bolts in the SWU is created through manipulation of energy and gas, so theoretically you should be able to achieve a speed far greater than what we have gotten onscreen. Not to mention, the films and TV shows are never overly consistent with said weaponry.

Ray shields, and plasma bridges seem to operate at much higher and consistent rates than blasters, so I can only assume it comes down to cost.

That raises another point, the bad guys always have greater weaknesses than the good guys, despite having the superior technology. For example, TIE Fighters are more advanced than X-WIngs, yet they don't have shields.

@GingerByte TIE fighters designed like that by the Empire....they wanted short range fighters designed to be mass produced. Shielding and heavy weapons (like proton torps on X-wings) sacrificed for more maneuverability. Kind of like German Messerschmidt ME-109s in WWII vs P-51 Mustangs or P-47 Thunderbolts.
