    Just out of curiosity, how many times have moderators threatened to close down the "Loved It" thread because of people's responses?

    Or how many times have people who disliked the film complained about people constantly expressing their love for TLJ? Anyone ever post repeatedly that they wish that other posters could just get over their love of the film already? Have they suggested that people who loved or liked TLJ find another website to go to?

    Has anyone repeatedly complained about having to see the "Loved It" thread in the forum, or how someone enjoying the film is wearing on their own personal fandom?

    This forum have space dedicated for the PT and OT right? Trilogies whose last installments were roughly 14 years and 22 years ago? But discussion on what wasn't liked or appreciated in TLJ (which came out in 2017) has reached its expiration date?

    There is literally a thread called "Is the PT really all that bad" in the Prequels forum that was posted on as late as yesterday. Some of the people complaining in THIS thread about TLJ critiques are posting in THAT thread.

    Someone help me make it make sense.

    The people who dislike TLJ have kept this thread going but not always because of discussion related to TLJ. That's the biggest issue with this thread and what causes the most problems. It's surpassed a "hated TLJ" thread and practically turned into a "hate all of it" thread. I know several continue to claim offense for speaking their minds, but quite simply this isn't a place for those who hated TLJ to voice general displeasure and to take umbrage at any little new Star Wars nitpick. More often than not, it's not simply a critique on LFL or Disney (perfectly okay), it's a critique and a bash, usually of TLJ / RJ / KK, all unnecessarily rolled up in one (not okay).

    Earlier today I strolled through the recent posts of this thread... it took me 4 pages covering 1 months time to get back to something purely TLJ-related. In that time, topics covered include: ridiculous LFL conspiracy theories, Galaxy's Edge bashing and criticism, and nitpicks of the D23 teaser for TROS. This is why the moderators have recently been hammering home the fact that without posting behavior changing here, the thread will be shut down. We haven't stepped in when there weren't issues, even when posts were only semi on-topic. But many have grown tired of this unceasing negativity. Quite frankly, a thread of this nature shouldn't exist in the first place because of its inherently divisive nature. We're attempting to correct course moving forward with TROS, and if we have to do so retroactively with the TLJ threads, we will.
