Timing for Han Solo Teaser Trailer?

I’m chomping at the bit to see this trailer. It’s going to really help me determine if I should be excited for this project or horrified, and living in this uncommitted limbo is driving me crazy! Give me the trailer already, you damn dirty mouse!

 

IIRC, the person who spread that rumor on reddit first gave us an earlier date and has since deleted his posts about it.

This is the only legit thing we have on the matter:

 

express.co.uk says the trailer will be released on monday ...

 

That website is not to be trusted, imo.
Their sources are crap.

Well, I thought, there were rumors, that the first teaser (or trailer or teaser-trailer or how to call it at the end) would be released this week? Sadly, that were just rumors... but when there is no teaser (or you know: the teaser-teaser, that teases the trailer-teaser that teases the trailer that teases the film that teases the next movie), it wouldn't be a surprise for me, if they declares in the next days, that it will come in December instead of May...

 

I think they have missed a trick by not having a teaser out already. The start of the year is when so many TV shows and blogs etc,, do there summary of films to look forward to in 2018 and many I've seen have not featured Solo as there are no clips. I think they should have put something out there even if it was just a tiny tease.

 

We have hope. Trailer-release-dates are built on hope!

 

I would be shocked if we don't see it pop up during the Super Bowl. The timing makes sense and most average people do not even know the movie exists.

 

While it wouldn't follow the pattern that Disney has used thus far for promoting the files they've made, they also haven't had one release in May yet. I would love to see something air during the Super Bowl. Maybe they could do something similar to what they did with the first Avengers movie where they aired a 30-second spot during the game which ended with a message to view an extended spot online. That would be pretty cool in my opinion.

 

At this point we’ll a Trailer for Solo Movie on opening night of......Solo Movie!

 

You know what, it would kill the box office but I'd love it if movies went back to one trailer tops.

 

I posted this in another thread a few weeks back but starting to hear some rumblings of a Superbowl trailer. Chalking this to rumors until my guy says something concrete.

 

I'll take a teaser and one official trailer tops. Because if they only showed the SWC TLJ trailer I wouldn't have been as excited as I was. Then again, if Avengers: Age of Ultron and Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice only showed their first trailers, I would probably have seen it more times.*

*I really like BvS Ultimate Edition, but I only saw the movie in theaters...once? Twice max. Same goes for AoU.

 

I wouldn't be surprised if they never released a trailer.
It's going to be a box-office disaster either way, so just save the money.

I avoid the majority of The Last Jedi trailers (and later i found it was not entirely necessary), so I think just can't wait to see this any longer.
Seing new SW footage for the first time is a joy and happines to our eyes.

 

I think that it's funny how we went from getting a trilogy with a 10+ year gap between them to just having new Star Wars barely a full month ago to being unreal anxious for our next helping.

We were easily spoiled.

 

Has anyone considered the Olympic opening ceremony as a spot to air the full trailer? There is prescedent with R1 releasing its full trailer during summer Olympics. Big audience and about 3 months out from the premier.
