it's been years probably since my last thread but I still come here everyday to read what you all have to say. I love it. Most of y'all are right for your criticism of the movie... That being said, I really loved The Last Jedi. I loved just about every minute of it. This idea came to me just a moment ago so if it isn't exactly air tight, don't crusify me, ok? Ok.

TLJ was a sports movie. For me it was on par with Remember the Titans, but for many of you this was more like... Space Jam?

Luke is facing off against Lebron James.. I mean Kylo Ren.

It's the Rebels vs First Order and the odds are stacked against them in just about every way. They keep taking out our best guys. In a game of chess it's equivalent to reducing the board down to a few pieces, and then chasing the king around until check mate. Meanwhile, Rey, is trying to get Luke to put his jersey back on for one last game. He looks at it in the movie like "maybe I should." And then doesn't. The Rebels continue to get their buts kicked as the First order sinks shot after shot.

Half Time: Admiral Holdo tries to rally the troops one last time... With not the greatest speech in the world. Captain of the team Poe wanted to take the team a different direction so he breaks out his old playbook and they call Maz for advice.

The conflict continues and more pawns are take out of the game until the 4th quarter... Michael Jordan/Luke Skywalker says hey coach. I'm here. Put me in.

He walks out onto the court, and the rest is history. They definitely didn't win the fight, but they're ready to play another game thanks to that inspiring moment when Luke came back... Sort of.

It's definitely a sports movie. And I'm cool with that.
