    this is my second favorite Hux moment in TLJ. he's so smug ~ ha@
    i really hope we get to know Hux better in the next movie. i feel like so much of him is explained in the EU; where he came from, why he's the way he is, the lengths to which he will go to become Emperor, the crazy inverted parallels he has with Ren, etc. i think people underestimate him.

    I never felt confident to mention this, until the movie designers themselves confirmed it. The shape of the tree clearly resembles the Rebel Alliance symbol, which is even more evident when the tree is burning - The Rebellion took the cue from the Jedi combining it with Sabine's starbird.

    Another one - when Yoda finishes his speech, he calls Luke by his name.

    PS. Also another one - when Finn and Rose look down a cliff, the height of it gets stretched, similarly to Hitchcock's Vertigo.

    Here's something I noticed even before the movie came out, but I forgot to mention it earlier (sorry if anybody has already brought this up):

    It looks like the Supremacy hangar was designed to justify the reflection of Pinewood lamps on Phasma's armor. It would be extremely difficult to remove it in post. Look at her head:

    And here's a raw set image where you can see the reflection very clearly. They would have to take care of it if this exact shot was to be used in the film.

    The ceiling of the hangar is made to look very similar to what they have in Pinewood. Here's the comparison between the trailer and Rian's Instagram photos taken in the studio:
