Did Dark Horse comics ever use these deleted scenes in a Legend comic or Star Wars tales?

I am, not sure. The girl was in deleted scenes, and in novelisation of the episode IV-

    I am so sad. Depressed.

On the one hand they didnt made Rey to be Luke's child( which hurts , Luke obviously was a man that could have a family..even..desired),

On the other hand as a life long Star Wars fan, after so many years, at least academically I am satissfied by some most finest details of Star Wars which are defined now.

Comie was a friend of Luke, she was in the group of young people who met regularily on Toche Station on Tatooine. She actually had other boyfriend at that time, who was also Luke's friend, they were all friends.

So,now we know, Luke was actually secretly in love with Comie, probably a first crush in his life, obviously if after so many years later he creates in his imagination ending with her as his alternative life.

    So sad...

I really thought Rian cannot go into a more depressing route, he proved me wrong. Wow, this is just terrible and leaves us with such a sad life of Luke for over 30 years between ROTJ and TFA. Also in mind how desperate and alone he died. :(

    :(
I don't know how to say it...there is more.

    New tidbits from novel,--

Leia blames both Snoke and Luke for losing Ben. She remembers soft hair of baby Ben anlike anything she ever touched, and considers the two , both Snoke and Luke that made Ben what Ben became-Kylo.

It appears Luke and Snoke met before, both were seekers for the truth in their own way, and Snoke was someone who was"underestimated by countles enemies that he defeated at the end" and was thus unsuspecting victorious one that came to power..

    .............................

If this is all true they destroyed character Luke Skywalker, and my childhood, its not anymore a joke....

Blessed be our good Luke, let your tormented soul find happynes in some other place.:(

Camie, played by actress Koo Stark who later made headlines because of her romance with UK Prince Andrew, was giving Luke a hard time in those deleted scenes.

I don't think he would have really considered her a friend, she was probably the one who came up with Luke's nickname "Wormie"...

Not if she was being as mean as Camie was to Luke.

    CAMIE
It was just wormie on another rampage.

Camie grabs the binoculars away banging them against the
    building in the process.

    Don't worry about it, Wormie.

I can better imagine her and Fixer relocating to Jakku to scavenge starship components...and selling her daughter for booze... ;)

    Yep.
I'd think that she looked to most likely be the only girl (that we'd know of) from the neighboring framing community around Anchorhead an Tosche Station.
So I can see why he'd likely have s crush on her.
In the original Radio Drama she was one to call him "Wormie".
And she was Fixer's girl at that time.

@nightangel Keep in mind, if Luke ended up being married, he'd be breaking the Jedi code, right? Attachments are a path to the dark side. "The last of the Jedi, you will be."

nope, Luke is also the villain in the 3rd version, Luke's final version. And now he is even hated by his own sister Leia for Ben's fall. :(

Luke said that the idea of kill him passed in his mind for a lapse of a second, just like his fight with darth vader in the emperor throne room ( when he cut Vader's hand), but he regrets immediately, but for Kylo it was too late (so here is not a real villain, just wrong time, wrong place situation). Leia does not really hate him, she just is not happy with the fact that she felt that Luke abandoned her when Kylo turned to the dark side and she feels that he's a little bit to blame, since he could not control Kylo's dark side, but it's part of the frustration. What I infer too, is that she has that feeling of guilt as a mother, that she feels that she has not been able to do anything, besides a pain for separating from her son (there is a lot of difference in not being happy with hate). If she really hated him, she would not go after him, nor would she have looked for him when she was almost unconscious in space

I just see it in a different way and for me Luke is ruined with both the movie and the novel. But just let us agree to disagree. :(

I know the novel isn't great but Pablo always said along the line always go to the movie for confirmation. The movie is far more important. These clarifications in the novels are there for fans to bite at. Most of the times the details have little relevance. Lucasfilm have continuously trolled fans through literature. I mean remember the 'what girl' scene. Young Ben in the forceback in The Force Awakens novel? The multiple trolls in other material? Admiral Rax as Snoke? Sana Solo? Zay? I believe it when its in the film. So for all the bad parents trope, suicidal Luke, Luke's dreams. Don't bet on them having major significance in the movies. Am getting a bit old in the head to fall for this cash grab again. So guys don't get too down, who knows what is planned for IX. Although I acknowledge there is some utter tripe in the movie, I can't remove that utter trash. Nobody can apart from jj.

That's sometime is the reality of life, which makes it for me that much more... for me that is, some enjoy their fairy tales a bit more uplifting. Films are subjective...

My other thought is if Luke was still true to the Jedi faith, he would still have a connection with Leia through the force, and it wouldn't have been so hard to find him. Unlike OB1 once found, continued on his Jedi/warrior path, Luke for me being missing and disgruntled is plausible... for me that is.
