SPECULATION TLJ Xmas Wish!

Grey and red... yeah alright, those are close enough to Santa's suit colors.

Ok then...

I wish for Benicio Del Toro's character to in some way, be force sensitive.

 

So tempted to joke about Jar Jar reincarnated as a porg and being eaten by Chewbacca, but...

My one wish for TLJ is that we get a flashback/Forceback to Ben Solo before he dons the mask of Kylo Ren, and before he has pledged his allegiance to Snoke/the Dark Side.

I already think that he’s the most intriguing and layered Star Wars character to date (which is a miraculous feat after only one film), so I want to see them push that further.

I can already empathise with his struggle between doing the right and wrong thing; I want to see what Ben was like before his fall from grace, to give more context and depth to his character’s arc, and thus further empathise with the character.

 

I wish, I wish, with all my little heart that Rian puts an end to the Rey Parentage theories once and for all with a concrete answer because it's turning the fandom into an all-out warzone.

Damn you JJ and your need to litter your movies with silly mystery boxes.



Oh, and bring Ben Solo back to his mother before it's too late.

I'll signal boost your Christmas wish to Santa.

 

I have a very long wishlist in mind, so be ready...

1.) Rey to be revealed as either a Skywalker (Luke's daughter) or a Solo (Han & Leia's daughter), though I'd really love it if she were Luke's daughter.
2.) Lt. Connix (Billie Lourd's character) to be revealed as the secret daughter of Han & Leia and sister of Kylo Ren as a way of paying tribute to Carrie Fisher.
3.) A hint that Finn and Rey will become a couple in Episode IX.
4.) The return of Hayden Christensen, Ewan McGregor and Frank Oz as the Force ghosts of Anakin, Obi-Wan and Yoda.
5.) A hint or two of Snoke's origins if not the full reveal of who he is.
6.) A Luke/Leia reunion
7.) A Kylo/Leia reunion
8.) A memorial for Han Solo
9.) More flashbacks/Force visions
10.) Luke kicking ass with his green lightsaber and showing people not to underestimate him because of his age.
11.) Finn winning the fight with Phasma and killing her
12.) General Hux to remain alive. I think the character actually has potential to make it through the trilogy before being killed in Episode IX.
13.) Kylo Ren to rescue Rey from Snoke and escape with her, slowly gaining redemption.
14.) An appearance by the Knights of Ren (it doesn't have to be a full appearance; it can be a cameo if it has to. Let's say Kylo & Rey escape; after they do, Snoke contacts the Knights of Ren and asks them to find them and bring them to him, therefore setting up a potential Skywalker Family vs. Knights of Ren plot in Episode IX).
15.) This is just my personal opinion, but I think it'd be cool to have another Kenobi in there besides Obi-Wan (that is if his Force ghost appears). Maybe they could reveal Rey as both a Skywalker and a Kenobi (and by that, I mean maybe Obi-Wan had a daughter or granddaughter that Luke got together with and had Rey). Or maybe Finn could turn out to be Force-sensitive and be revealed as Obi-Wan's grandson or something like that. And then if he and Rey get together, it'll be a Skywalker/Kenobi romance (only it won't be Reylo).
16.) Include a "In Loving Memory of Our Beloved Princess & General, Carrie Fisher - 1956-2016" or something similar either at the beginning or end (before the credits roll) of the film.

I wish for Luke to eventually show what a bad ass Jedi he has become (that we all envisioned he had become b4 the ST)

Oh, God... There's so many things I want from this movie!

As much as I want Rey to be a Skywalker or Solo, I think, even more, I want closure for Carrie Fisher/Princess Leia. That being said, my wish is that, if nothing else, even though she made the choice not to be a Jedi, we get one scene where Leia picks up a lightsaber and kicks Ben's ass for everything he's done. It would be SO awesome!

It's never going to happen, though, so I just hope that we have some sort of satisfying conclusion to Leia's story in this film.

 

Most of the things I want to see are likely to happen, but here's one that's virtually impossible and requires a Christmas miracle: make Luke grab Rey and Kylo by the back of their necks and knock their heads together with a satisfying sound. And if "X Gon' Give It To Ya" would play in the background right before he does it...that would be fabulous!

 

If I only have one wish... Rey Skywalker.

 

A Knights of Ren fight scene!

 

I have 2 wishes , but since you made it clear i can get only one , i will combine the 2 into one : Luke vs Darth Plagueis

 

If we get one scene of Luke igniting the green sabre and wreaking havoc - especially Steele's theory on Jedi Council - I'll be happy, even if the rest of the film is a musical about Porgs

 

A new lightsaber or a post-credit scene with Spider-Man.

 

I can't decide between a flashback of a younger Ben Solo and a reunion between mother and son.
