My best moment is sences of BB8 and D0 and little appearance of two porgs give me a smile. Final battle also excited me.

 

As I understand it, Zorii Bliss exists because JJ once had a thing for a biker chick. Maybe there's a story to go along with the sad eyes you mentioned.

It reminds me of Maz Kanata, who JJ modeled on his sixth grade English teacher. Or Rose, who is modeled on a dorky girl Rian Johnson knew in school. I love learning little details like that because it's like a personal stamp by the filmmaker, a character that only they could come up with.

 

Yeah it's not the helmet so much as the one instance with the visor up. I can only presume JJ felt it necessary to show they eyes to convey the most emotional context for the scene. I don't know maybe there's a more significant reason.

Nice. I recall Yoda being modeled after, I think the guy who made the puppet? It makes me wonder if those people know the characters are modeled after them. That would be kind of interesting way of seeing yourself in the movie.

 

I don’t know what the official intent is behind Zorii Bliss’ name, but when I first read was spelled Zorii, I (or perhaps... ii ) could not help but think of the Nintendo Wii, with the double ‘i’.

I seem to recall Nintendo explained the Wii console as being so called because then ‘ii’ was about people being brought together to play games and have fun... and this idea would certainly jive well with the theme of people coming together and not being alone in TRoS.

 

- I'm a sucker for great planets/locale and ''ancient lore'' so Exegol with with it's connection to ancient sith history and the sith citadel make it one of my favorite planet of all movies.
- My favorite shot of the movie and perhaps of the trilogy is the introduction of Rey levitating with the floating rocks - awesome

 

The Wookiepedia entry for the Sith Eternal is pretty interesting, and it makes me wish it was better integrated into the ST. In retrospect, this is what Episodes VII and VIII should have been building towards, IMO.
