Starting with the one you enjoy the most, and ending with the one you enjoy the least. ;)

Now, that's the only "correct" order. But personally, I'd probably say OT - ST - PT

However, I've recently seen an interesting article that suggests that Solo, Rebels, and Rogue One could be their own sort of "Rise of the Empire" trilogy. If that's the case... honestly, it would pass even the OT for me. I just really love that time period, and Rebels has a great story.

CT - Still my favorite trilogy. The last chapter is a little weaker but ends very well the overall story. 10/10.

ST - Great characters and great visuals. Here the last chapter is also the weaker point of the trilogy. Palpatine works for the story but I've liked they had did it in another way. 9/10.

PT - Looks superficial, effects and acting. Silly lines. Midiclhorians, really? The most important character of the Skywalker saga (alongside Luke) was completely destroyed: Anakin. 5/10.

I like that way of thinking. I would probably agree that it would then be the best! I think Solo is perhaps the best movie anyway, and Rebels and Rogue One are also great!

    1. Original Trilogy - Easily the best trilogy.
    2. Prequel Trilogy - Has it's problems but does have a fantastic story behind it.
    3. Sequel Trilogy - Amazing visual and some great characters, incoherence lets it down.

@cawatrooper has it right, whatever you guys enjoy is the right one. It's Star Wars after all, lets all drink the kool-aiddd baby.

    Saying that, for me :

    1) Original Trilogy - Lightning in a bottle, full of such charm, wonder, wisdom, joy - nothing would be the same. Nothing can top it (IMO)
    2) Prequel Trilogy - Distinct. Wider world building, full off missed opportunities that had to be supplemented by other sources. However, endearing and fascinating concepts (living force, cosmic force, failure of the Jedi, corruption in the Republic).
    3) Sequel Trilogy - Gets in touch with the magic we knew, but lack of a cohesive vision really hurt the plot. Has some soaring and impactful moments ( Han/Luke's Death, Yoda's teachings on failure) but at times just left thinking..really? (Another death star, palps back etc)

OT- Classic, and set the bar. Glad this came out when it did before the dark times...before social media.

ST- This was better than I thought it would be, as I went in with reasonable expectations and I don't expect anything to beat the OT. Felt like I was back in SW for the first time in a long time. Uneven at times but still strong overall.

PT- Did a fair job world building, but outside of McGregor's Kenobi, I just don't like any of the characters. Don't want to be negative though, and for me the worst of Star Wars is still ahead of most other franchises. I still defended the PT when it wasn't 'cool' to do so, and always will!

This is hard because different trilogies do different things well.

The Original Trilogy is a clear winner because it combines excellent story/vision with excellent filmmaking. The prequel trilogy, to me, has excellent story/vision but sporadic filmmaking. The sequel trilogy has excellent filmmaking but sporadic story/vision.

Up against it, I would probably say:

    1) Original Trilogy
    2) Prequel Trilogy
    3) Sequel Trilogy

Original Trilogy, then Prequel Trilogy. Sequel Trilogy takes Place in a Paralell Universe and does not belong to my Headcanon. :(

    Original Trilogy
    Sequel Trilogy
Disney Prequel Trilogy (Fallen Order, Solo, Rogue One)

Ewok Trilogy (Caravan of Courage, The Battle for Endor, Ewoks animated series)

    Prequel Trilogy

Couldn't agree more, Ewan's Kenobi was genuinely great (and arguably the only truly redeeming feature of the prequels for me) but I can't understand the love some of the prequel characters like Qui Gon, Mace Windu and Count Dooku get? They are so one-note and boring! I can only assuming it's because they're played be iconic actors that people love from other movies...also the flex people attach to Hayden's Anakin honestly baffles me, like seriously? That's genuinely what you thought Anakin Skywaker would be like?
