Triple Force Friday 2019

The only Tros merch @NinjaRen and I have seen today were some cute tros funko pops.

 

I was suprised as my Target and Walmart had a good stock of TROS VC’s. I didn’t see anything from TROS 3.75 regular line as I wonder if they are even releasing them since TLJ didn’t sell well. The Vintage Collection appeals to collectors so those will always sell.

Wich funko is that one with the white box, 337 I think?!

I collect Funkos and I have 110 now. Very excited to get the ones from TROS.

PS. Tonight I watched TFA with the orchestra in Metz, France. Anthony Daniels was there and he signed my C3P0 funko pop!

337 is Cal Kestis from Jedi: Fallen Order, I also got the new Rey and Kylo Ren from TROS. Would’ve picked up The Mandalorian too if someone else hadn’t beat me to him!

I have a couple other Funkos on my desk: all of The Clone Wars ones that came out last year (other than the NYCC Captain Rex) plus Crait Luke Skywalker from TLJ. Haven’t got any of them signed yet; I’m jealous of your Threepio!

 

went to two targets, two walmarts, the Disney store, gamestop, hallmark, and two other toy/collector stores.

saw exactly zero carded figures the whole day. and zero carbonized black series figures.
target and walmart were already picked clean by 9 a.m.

had better luck at the Disney store, where i got the villain set, and white box Mando and jawa.
picked up a Rey and a classic stormtrooper (the old special edition black series) at other stores.

decided to pass on legos and Fallen Order stuff.
couldn't find Empire magazine anywhere either.

we had a lot of fun, but it was hard to find anything. : D

 

Me too. The signed ones are the coolest!

 

They made a pretty big deal of Triple Force Friday build-up, but I went to two Walmarts and both had HUGE Frozen 2 displays and absolutely no Star Wars display. Feels like Disney kinda trampled over itself again here.

Currently looking for a Mandalorian Black Series and a Knight of Ren Vintage. But apparently everyone else is too. By the time I got to the stores on Friday, they were all sold out. And they're all sold out online, too, unless you wanna drop $50+ on a single figure.

 

So upset I can't find any more First edition Black Series. Only one I was able to find was The Sith Trooper..

 

Although I was out of town, I hoofed it to the Wal-Mart near my hotel and they had NOTHING on Friday. Luckily I got most of what I wanted by ordering from target.com with my phone. I also ordered the villain set (hello KOR!) from shopdisney.com because I *have* to have those and they'll arrive early next week.
