    What will the Tomatometer score for Rise of Skywalker be?

    I’m guessing the critic score will be about the same as The Last Jedi, while the audience score will be a little higher. I’m guessing it will be somewhere 70’s or 80’s. I can’t imagine this movie will get the same backlash as TLJ. It will surely get some. Just not as much.

    My guess would be 10-20 points lower from the critics and 10-20 points higher from the public audience.

    Critics reviews I hope at the same score of TLJ and TFA. The audience score I really don't care.

    IMDB's ratings was on yesterday and during this morning (Europe). Approximately 1.200 people voted and the rating was 6.7 stars. They took it down now.

    Yes but I specifically recall TLJ was at this same early point and it was riding in the high 80s and low 90s. It was part of why my hype level for TLJ was through the roof before I saw it. It’s still early and I do expect an upward movement but like I said 60-70s RT critic score is where it will be.

    Yeah I'm getting nervous now. This movie may have the lowest critical score of all the Disney-era Star Wars films. Right now the lowest is Solo at 70%
    But maybe the audience score will turn out really high and make things a reverse of TLJ scores.

    If we go by Metacritic score it has the second lowest score for any movie, only TPM is lower.

    So, most of the mixed to negative reviews say, that there's too much nostalgia and that the movie tries to negate the Last Jedi... So, basically what the most vocal "fans" wanted.
    That's exactly the reason, why, in my opinion, fan service should be limited to skimpy outfits and shower scenes.

    Yes that’s where I think it might trend. Although I do see a narrative forming from the TLJ loving crowd that is pretty laughable.

    I've seen this as well. If ROS fails, it has nothing to do with the fans. If I recall, only a few idiotic incels living in their parents basement hated TLJ. Oh and some Russian bots. :confused:

    The fact this thing is at what, 55 now (I just checked and it's back up to 59 but about an hour ago it was at 55) is surprising.
