I wanted to see it in almost every format. I'm surprised how fast 3D, IMAX, & Dolby formats got pulled.

Saw it once in AMC Prime.
    Once in Imax.
Twice in regular. Once alone & once with family.

Twice, it was more than enough. Only SW film I've seen less is Solo, which I saw once and vowed never to watch again.

    Twice.

I'm sure I'll watch it a ton when it comes out, but I just can't justify going to theaters much more than that.

Twice in theaters (once with friends, once with family). I'll get the Blu-ray to watch the Director's commentary and to complete the set.

I’ve seen it 2 times. That’s the norm for me with SW movies in the modern era (1997-present), except I saw TFA 4 times.

I’ve got a home theater so I’ll watch it a zillion times when it comes out on Blu-ray. I’ve seen TFA probably around 20 times on Blu-ray and TLJ about 10 times on Blu-ray.

Three times, and that's enough for now. But as others have said, I will get the blu ray and watch it many more times at home. I think I have seen both TFA and TLJ at least 10 times each at home, and I only saw them 2 or 3 times in theaters.

Yep! One more viewing and it'll break my personal record for number of times I've seen any single film in the cinema. :)

2 times. One in 2D IMAX and 2nd in 3D IMAX. I generally don't see any movies more than 2 times in theaters

You've seen it one more time that I have. I just made it a bakers dozen on Tuesday. Such a beautiful, engrossing and evocative film. I don't regret one red penny I've spent watching it all these times. It's just not the same as watching it on the computer. The way I see it, I would rather spend money re-watching a film I really, really and deeply enjoy than spending money on a film where I keep checking my watch.

The only thing that bugs me, big time, is that we won't be able to get a continuation of these characters, at least on the big screen. So many people complain about the fact that the film seems too rushed and it would have benefited if some of the scenes could have been expanded.

No! :D I have just been able to go lots.

I agree with all of this. As I invested in an annual pass at one of my local cinema chains it hasn't cost me a lot of money on top of what I'd already paid (though I have paid for a few tickets at a different cinema) but I specfically had Ep IX in mind when I first got that... it's turned out to be a good investment, more-or-less halving what my overall cost would have been over the last couple of years because I go regularly enough (not usually this many times for the same movie though! ;)).

I also agree it would have been nice to see the new characters in more films. Maybe we still will one day in some form, it's all been very final before... until it wasn't again(!).

Part of the reason I say that I want to see a continuation, is that I am so interested in Rey's journey. I just feel that with her skills, leader ship abilities and powers there are so many directions she could go it. And will Ben be brought back? This is not the SW of old, I think Disney sees that politics and infighting can work on screen. SW is supposed to be a space opera, it should fully take advantage of the entire playground and characters. It would be nice to to see it visualized on screen. But they aren't going to make tv show off of this and I am sure this film franchise will be shelved. Unless Rian Johnson wants to bring it back and Disney says yes.
