    Yeah, he wouldn't have replied or he would have been coy about it. Though... of course he's gonna say "no." Since he wasn't on the official cast list. I don't recall any Yoda material pre release of TLJ. Also, Sam Witwer/Ray Park were never officially announced as cast members for Solo. So, there is precedent.

    Do we even need Yoda in IX? I would say no. He was only in TLJ to guide Luke, that's it.

    I guess we may only get Force Ghost L his as the resident Force Ghost in Episode IX. I was hoping we get a Force Ghost Anakin as well. I'm glad we at least got Yoda in The Last Jedi.

    i would dearly love to see Hayden in episode 9. the question is.. would he want to do it?

    When we saw him appear on stage at Celebration last march, i would have said a big yes.
    When he saw the vile abuse that Kelly Marie Tran and RJ were getting after TLJ released? a little part of me would tell Hayden to stick up his middle finger and say 'no thanks'.

    Hayden said he would definitely agree to return. I'd be sooo happy if that happened.



    As for the fan abuse... well. He got his share and I think he's well hardened by now. I'm pretty sure he wouldn't care about potential backlash, which is good.
