Honestly with Rey does that really make a difference. Besides she might just download it from Poe. It's worked in the past for her

 

She did have that flight simulator in Before the Awakening* and, with a time jump, her flying an X-Wing is quite plausible, if... "unfitting". And the would have to be a time jump if they would have a spare X-Wing.

OK, I know that worrying about the beard is often mocked, but seriously, I wish they didn't go with a fake one. It would definitely look off. And if they're giving him time to grow it back, that would mean he's not going to film for quite a while (unless he has already filmed something secretly). Which then could mean a lot of other things and so on... Oh no, I'm going down the conspiracy rabbit hole.

There's also a chance that he's trolling us with an older photo in this tweet.

 

So it looks like Mark will have wrapped IX by the middle of January. Well, it doesn't tell us much, but... I guess it's something.

 

Well at least he'll have more then a facial expression...

 

We have to remember, though, that he's doing Knightfall, so I wouldn't be surprised if the show took the majority of his time between now and January.

 

He can do multiple things at once, btw.

The beard is back + Mark is currently in Prague. That is, if the pictures are new.

 

that's a lot of shooting...and him being clean shaven could mean that his force ghost is closer to how he looks in ROTJ

 

Any predictions / hoping for a "88 second" teaser this year? Would it even be possible to do? Started thinking about IX now that we are close to the end of the year and i was kinda hoping we might get JJ dropping some IX content by the end of the year to mirror his VII promos. Or is it just silly hoping for anything considering the uniformity of promo releases for the last few movies and we're basically getting nothing till celebration?

 

I doubt it. The best bet is a title by the end of the year. Even then, that's probably wishful thinking.

 

So far we got a title after the production was finished. TFA wrapped in November and we got a title (and teaser). TLJ wrapped in February and we got the title. I would say we'll get the title for IX in February and the first teaser will drop at the SWC in April.

I needed something to fill my boring work days as we head to the end of the year. Was hoping IX content (video or print) would start dripping out by nov/dec.

Unless we get leaks, guess i'll have to focus my energy on something else.

 

Some Reddit "ITK" is claiming some "news" will drop tomorrow. No idea if IX of just star wars generally. Likely BS. However keep ya peepers open american friends as i will be sleeping

I don't want to get my hopes too high, could be fake... but I'm still intrigued. Would be cool to get something, but what could it be at this time? It's too early for IX title and an announcement of a new movie would go against the "slowdown" Iger was talking about. Could be The Mandalorian cast reveal or something like that. If we take games into account, perhaps some details about Jedi: Fallen Order could come up.
