    Have to ask @LadyMusashi as I think she wrote something about his death, and I was quite sure it was in Aftermath but I may be mistaken.

    By actual appearance I mean new footage and not archival footage.

    Jar Jar's one of my favorite characters in the entire saga. I don't like him quite as much as Quinlan Vos, 3PO and Padmé, but he's close.

    He's not dead. In the Aftermath, he still lives on Naboo, entertaining children in the park, because adults basically blame him for Palpatine. Still, kids love him and there is a measure of contentment there.

    So, theoretically, he could appear in Obi-Wan series, but I don't know if his personality goes with the tone of the series. I think Jar-jar does much better in animation.
