The title for Dave Filoni's long-awaited episode of this season of The Mandalorian has seemingly been revealed, with some data suggesting that the episode might have a longer runtime than usual. The episode has long been speculated to see the live-action debut of Ahsoka Tano, who is reportedly being played by Rosario Dawson (who, like Timothy Olyphant, was officially confirmed to be involved with the series before the premiere).

A leak provided by Orbit Showtime Network, a satellite television provider in the Middle East, has indicated that the title of the next episode of The Mandalorian will be titled 'Chapter 13: The Jedi', which all but confirms that Dave Filoni will be the one to bring the character that he first brought to animation in 2008's first season of Star Wars: The Clone Wars into live-action. The service previously revealed the title of the last episode as 'Chapter 12: The Siege', so their credibility with sharing this kind of information has been established. The three times, when added together, create the sum of 58 minutes and 20 seconds; if that's reflective of the running time, then it tops 'Chapter 9: The Marshal' as the longest episode in the series. Check out a screengrab of the site below:

The site has since been updated to remove the episode titles - including the one for the newly-released episode, oddly enough - but the times associated with the next episode remain unchanged. Regardless, it seems like having an extra-long episode for the debut of Ahsoka Tano from Dave Filoni himself would be in Lucasfilm's best interest. It's been rumored for quite some time that they are looking at The Mandalorian as a vehicle to potentially give Rosario Dawson a live-action spin-off. If so, properly establishing Ahsoka as a crucial part of this season would be a shrewd decision, particularly given the rumors that she may only be in this one episode for the entire season. None of the trailers have revealed footage past the fourth episode, so the entire back half of the season should be especially exciting for fans.

    UPDATE!

'...The data that misread, could have been.' Upon closer inspection on the website, the listings provided appear to be for airtimes on Channel 200 (using a 24-hour format rather than a 12-hour AM/PM listing that most of us are accustomed to) rather than individual segments denoting a total runtime. Evidence against this one being really long can be found with the listings of the fourth episode's next airdates, which add up to well below the runtime of the episode, and checking the actual schedule listings provided by the site has the episode lasting approximately 45 minutes. Furthermore, the site's official listing for the show indicates that it's approximately 45 minutes on average, which is reflected on the daily schedules. This would point to the episode being closer in length to the likes of Filoni's live-action directorial debut - 'Chapter 1: The Mandalorian', which was 39 minutes long - than the second season premiere.

Nonetheless, Dave Filoni is only directing a single episode this season, so it could stand to reason that the one he chose to work on is may be more expansive than some of the other episodes in the second season, given how he directed two episodes in the first season previously. With a character as important to modern Star Wars as Ahsoka Tano is, it can be presumed that 'Chapter 13: The Jedi' will be on the longer side of things - just perhaps not nearly a full hour. With a title like that, and with the Mandalorian's ship being repaired and no apparent distractions preventing him from reaching the planet that she's on, it seems abundantly clear that we'll be seeing the character in the next episode. We'll just have to wait and see what the runtime for the episode is, but there's still a chance that it could be longer than usual.

We apologize for any confusion that we may have caused.

The Mandalorian is streaming exclusively on Disney+, with the first season completed and a second season in progress. A third season is currently being written by Jon Favreau and is in pre-production for a hopeful 2021 release window, while actor Giancarlo Esposito has indicated that there are plans for at least four seasons.

I'm not sure if this was 'leaked' or fanmade, but I wish it was called "The Sorcerer".

My speculative guess. If they haven't found Ezra, and I believe they haven't. I think this will be the basis of the next show. Then Ahsoka will indeed likely point Mando to Luke Skywalker. What a cliffhanger the end of the season will be if that's true. Don't know how they would do this, but Anthony Daniels did hint about appearing in a star wars product before the end of the year.

Will Yoda tell luke where to take Baby Yoda? I think its likely this might happen. That could set up season 4 as finding the actual planet. Not sure, would like to see Baby Yoda taken to Mandalore, raised like Tar Visla as a Mandalorian Jedi. He could have escaped the destruction of Lukes school by simply still being too young to start his formal training and still being on Mandalore.

Just take care not to paint yourselves into expectation territory with speculations; that path leads to disappointment ;) (We've seen so many fans growing discontent when an upcoming movie or project turns out to be NOT what they painted it to be in their heads)

Personally, I think it’s extremely unlikely that LFL & al. will use The Mandalorian as a vehicle to wrap up the Ezra & Thrawn mystery. If they do that, they’ll have to either, sideline Mando to make this the NuRebels show, or sideline Ezra etc. to maintain The Mandalorian as the Mando show, which would sort of render the entire bring-back-Ezra endeavor pointless.

I think, in regards to the Ezra storyline, it is MUCH more likely that they’ll introduce Ahsoka here, have her mention her greater mission in context somehow (perhaps Babyoda can help out in some way), and then let her appearance on The Mandalorian kick off another show featuring Ahsoka searching for Ezra.
