As you know the Rogue One tickets are already on sale in many European countries. Now the long awaited confirmation for the rest of the world has finally come via the official Star Wars Twitter account.

According to the official Star Wars Twitter page, fans will be able to purchase tickets for 'Rogue One' on Monday, November 28, 2016. No exact time of the day is specified at this time. Keep in mind, that tickets for Star Wars: The Force Awakens were availableĀ in the evening in North America the first day they went on sale. We'll update you when new information becomes available.

May the Force be with us!

Update: EW.com's Anthony Breznican is saying the sale begins at midnight Eastern for most ticket-sellers. However, they also said that the timing is up to the individual retailers.

Stay tuned for more details later. In the meantime you can try to get a free pair of tickets from our '36 Rogue One tickets giveaway' here.

Also LA Times has a new exclusive Rogue One poster:

What was Disney and LFL thinking with the roll out of the ticket preorder announcement? The marketing people I think really dropped the ball. They missed a couple of really good opportunities to make a much bigger splash and connect it to something. A prime example is they had this big exclusive Rogue One promo thing they hyped for it a bit during the Disney Holiday special on the same date just a couple hours earlier and nothing about the preorder. Seems pretty Marketing 101 kind of stuff. Now around midnight Thanksgiving day in the US they put out a Twitter announcement that preorders will go on sale Monday? Just about everybody but insomniacs like me are knocked out from all the thanksgiving day food and activity.

Does anyone get the idea there might be some internal conflicts on the marketing team or maybe the Disney-LFL partnership on just what's the right way to handle Rogue One?
