    Hey all!

    I find myself on a sudden, unplanned vacation to what looks supsiciously like Ahch-To... with porgs and everything! With me is my ever-present traveling compannion, Bollan the Hedgehog. What'cha think?

    By the way, @Star Dude might actually have an inkling where this is ;)

    Yes, pretty grand. Took us an hour of leisurely hiking, but that was well worth it. Although... on a downside I probably have the plague now, 'cause people were too busy gawking at the porgs to care about social distancing and infection prevention :confused:


    It's on a small island "near" Ålesund called Runde, a famous birdwatching spot. A Lonely Planet guide I once checked out had a page and a half dedicated to this place (which has NOTHING beyond birds and hiking terrain) and only a measly paragraph to the city (close to) where I grew up! (I.e. Stavanger, Norway's third largest city). That's how big this small place is out in the world of tourism, heh heh.


    Yeah, no... no lightsaber or X-wing, and not even old stone-hut constructions and the like. I do fear that all of that stuff happened a long time ago in a galaxy far far away...

    Long story, but basically, the gf's family became cranky that we didn't spend the last days of vacation visiting them (even though we burned vacation days on them for Christmas), when we had spent some days with my family. So, since we are not allowed to decide for ourselves, we had to go on an additional holiday (instead of doing stuff around the house as planed) to please people. Families are the worst.
