Very Disappointing. Shows you need Lucas to make Star Wars

Well, the scene where the trooper with the vibrolame shows why Finn knows how to handle a sword. The scene where Han shoot with the crossbow shows how strong is the weapon and how much Kylo was weakened when Chewie shot him and Rey is strong with the Force much like Anakin. She's good at piloting, fixing and fighting, we saw it on Jakku.

It's not that incredible.

 

You have let me down AllhailVader. I was expecting some real fire. You just repeated what you have already said a million times before. Your opinion and Emperor Abrams were the ones I was really looking forward to reading. And since Emp Ab got the can I was going to have to rely on you.

I thought maybe there would be more to Finn, like he was a secret agent plant in the FO and not just a Han Solo replacement but more or less that is what he is at this point. I am however holding out that he is in fact FS and it will come out more in Ep 8.

I saw it twice and I didn't like it it's so unoriginal. This movie is everything wrong with modern films.

I think maybe your disappointment over Finn is bleeding into your perception of Rey. Even the biggest TFA detractors almost to a person has nothing but praise for her performance, as they do with Boyega. Or is it more the Rey's role as a character in the story?

 

The character of Rey is so boring I don't see why we should care about her at all.

 

Um I cared about her in that she seemed very caring and compassionate person and demonstrated it multiple times. She also had to endure some tough times, dealing with abandonment and surviving a pretty harsh life as a lone sort of drifter. She also was a gifted and tenacious fighter who has an important future. Finally I also found myself asking, what exactly did happen at the Jedi Order, is she really Luke's daughter, what happened and who is her mother along with others. Daisy I thought was very sincere and believe able in her acting. My only point where I do share some concern was how quick she went from almost zero force awareness to being able to out duel KR.

 

Well so be it then. Your entitled to your opinion we will just have to agree to disagree. Maybe next time.

 

Reys usage of the force contradicts the series of star wars.

I really wanted to like this movie but I just don't. I don't see how people are loving this movie its a cheap rehash are peoples standards for movies so low they consider this an amazing movie.

See here is where you start messing up. I am really trying to check myself in terms of just letting people who have a negative opinion be for the most part. Please don't assume people have low, or lower standards just because they don't share your opinion. That sort of thinking is how the whole us versus them thing starts.

 

Uh oh, another one saying those who like it must have poor taste in film.

Well if Kurosawa, Kubrick and Hitchcock is poor taste in film, you've got me spot on.
