Ok, as someone who has a lot of experience with drunk people: Carrie is not drunk. She is a bit buzzed at best, if at all.
Oscar is drunk, yes. No sober person ever mentions how they need to go pee.

But what I loved best and I am still laughing about it, is how Carrie kept calling him Poe Decameron.
That is one of the most funny things I have ever heard on a red carpet.
    And so Carrie.

One gets the impression that they all had just come from a party or reception with free-flowing libations. ;)

Yeah, it definitely didn't seem the demeanor of a man who had willingly given over creative control and was jovially if slightly grudgingly eager to see what the world's reaction might be.

A lot of media outlets have been advertising TFA as a return to class ("Is it gonna be better than the prequels?"), so I don't think you can blame George for having slightly mixed feelings.

You've got to feel sorry for him. Something he put 8 years of his life to are constantly used as a stick to beat him with.

Not to turn this into another huge discussion but even if they don't compare to the originals they do not 'suck' and they are by no definition bad movies compared to everything else out there.

Are there anymore of these drunk interviews from last night btw? That was hilarious!

I'm starting to wonder if Princess Leia (who's father was Darth Vader and didn't realized she smooched her brother) is more stable then Carrie Fisher? :p

In all seriousness, she has been great in every interview leading up to TFA. She did a funny bit with Ellen DiGeneres yesterday as they both stood outside on the corner with Princess Leia hairbuns and see if anyone recognized them. If they did, they gave them free tickets to opening night.

One guy didn't recognize her but said his favorite character was Luke Skywalker, and Carrie yelled, "I'm his sister!!!"

I know! She is amazing. It is good to have such a fresh breeze like them on this kind of events, where the interviews sometimes are too square asking the same stuff.

Just as a side comment, I was reading last month her book "Wishful Thinking" and it was a funny coincidence that the very same day I was having a discussion about the War of Spanish Succession (yeah, I like European History) and that day I read the following part of the book:

"Oh, and Charles's death caused the War of Spanish Succession, which I know a lot of you have been discussing at length recently".

I know she was being sarcastic, but it was mind-blowing for me since I was actually doing that (discussing the War of Spanish Succession lol).

Anyway, she is great, and I mentioned this anecdote since it highlights her wit and wide cultural knowledge (same as calling Oscar "Poe Decameron" lol).
