Villain(s) in the Kenobi series

Completely agree mate. Obi wan wasn’t even a master and was a Jedi knight all of two seconds before taking on a padawan. It was rather doomed from the start. I like to think he learned from all the mistakes by the time Luke comes around or from whatever happens in the kenobi series.

respectfully I wonder why you think a Vader fight would undue the OT and PT. Truly just asking your perspective for I’m sure others feel the same. I personally don’t view the line, last time I was but a learner and you a master to mean mustafar. Anakin wasn’t his learner, he already had his own padawan by then. To me it simply is fancy speak to say the last time they met, Obi taught him a lesson( won a saber duel). But I’m interested in your take if you will

 

Some things should be left alone... in order not to ruin the original material. As a huge OB1 fan looking forward to this series, I hope the story group has enough input where things from the OT don't unnecessarily get retcon

 

I think it is safe to assume LFL have given the Vader vs. Kenobi thing a thought and will respect canon well enough. Thus far, ironically, only George Lucas has ever played loose and fast with Star Wars continuity and made swats of retconing to his movies. This is Star Wars, not the MCU or Transformers, and there's no indication LFL would throw in a some epic fight scene just to "spice things up" or whatever; SW is about story and they'll find interesting ways to make this work, or they wouldn't do it.

Don't create missery for yourselves, peoploids. Don't create an atmosphere of disapointment before the fact. If you do, then we've already lost... you were our only hope.

I'd love to see a live action version of Rebels season 3 episode 19 'Twin Suns' incorporated into the OB1 series. Opening scene, Kenobi finds Ezra and Chop in the dune sea holding on to dear life... always on the move...
