Hey all! I got into making videos like many because of Star Wars. I was lucky enough to direct this spot for 3DLightFX. Features Admiral Ackbar and R2 in line for TFA arguing over who is the ultimate collector! Hope you enjoy!

My theater is in Tustin so it's a wild card for me...I wonder if the line-waiting will be as ridiculous as for TPM, when I heard on the news that there were people camped outside up to 16 weeks ahead...those people were probably filthy rich ton to work that long .

This forum has helped me appreciate not being in the U.S. or a huge city for this, no big lines for me.

I'm feel fortunate to still be able to purchase tickets to my local midnight screening (3am, Dec 16 in L.A. time) - even now if I wanted, go along in masked costume if I felt like it, catch a large screen 2D or 3D showing for 6.5USD equivalent - even bring in food and beverages from outside (including licensed) into the cinema without hassle!

I'm not trolling here, I feel lucky to have such options and will enjoy this perfect balance while I can.

I think it's a safe assumption that I will love this video -- if I ever get past the video halting every 3 seconds to buffer.

I waited in line 13 hours for RotS. At my ripe old age of 33 I am more than happy to show up 10 minutes ahead for my assigned seating showing of TFA ;)

I won't have assigned seating, so I'll be showing up to line up the moment the theater opens its doors for the day! (seeing as how it'll be mid-December, I don't think I'll be doing any outside waiting)

At the cinema in Dublin I'm going to for the midnight screening on 16th/17th (all screens in the cinema are showing it), there's a Star Wars party starting at 9:30 pm. I don't know what that entails yet, but I guess I'll be there from then.

I live in a small town with a decent Mann theater. At the time of this post only about 2/3rds of the tickets are sold for the first showing, a 7:00PM Thursday night 2D affair. I'm planning on getting in line 45 mins to 1 hour early, as there is no assigned seating.

I got my ticket already for 12/18 at 1:30 PM in Burbank, CA at the AMC (I could only get in for the 3D one). I have to work until noon so hoping an hour before (12:30) will be sufficient for parking and waiting. Does anyone think there will be a huge long wait if you already have your ticket? Just curious.

No assigned seating? How does ordering tickets work then? A limited amount of tickets sold for 1 showing and then people fight over the seats?

Me, my girlfriend, and 7 y/o son will be at Disney World for a 7:05pm showing on the 17th... we are going to get there early and feel out the lines. It seems like the bigger the group the harder it's going to be to keep them together. Don't get me wrong, I love my girlfriend, but I will be happy as long as my son and I get to sit together. I saw the original with my dad twice in '77 and I want this experience to come full-circle. =)

    Yeah, sure they are.
Until they sit right directly in the row in front of me.
Then my eyes glow yellow and steam shoots out of my ears.
(Oh, and please don't make it worse by texting).

Yep that would a rude gesture, at the 1999 showing of the TPM I once put something like this in front of a guy in front of me just has 20th century fox started to appear he quickly put away, both rows applauded me, my sister gave it to me as a ''just incase'' favor.
