    Recently I ripped the visually impaired audio track from my Star Wars blu-rays so I could listen to them in the car or at the gym or while doing chores or whatever. After investing a truly deranged amount of effort so I could hear some guy describe movies to me I’ve seen a million times, I realized “wow, this probably the geekiest Star Wars thing I’ve done.”

    That got me thinking: so as to justify my own – oh, let’s say ‘enthusiasm’, what are some of the geekiest things you’ve done in celebration of this franchise?

    .....find and download the MP3 Soundtrack Audio versions of All Six Star Wars Films... so I could Listen to the films Audio"Book" Version while at previous work (kinda like the Radio Dramas).... hmm ...
    ... was a member of the 501st - Garrison Carida - in 2002... doeas that count ( 'member what GeekDom was like back then)...
    Now ? Well ... I cross History (how I chose to Live= Vintage) with Star Wars... hard for me to Explain here ... Yep.

    I bought a stormtrooper suit in which i had a few shootings and for wearing it at star wars premieres.

    I got a tattoo in aurebesh on my fingers.

    Both were spontaneous decisions. (jupp, i'm that strange).

    My wife and I went to Celebration Anaheim and attended all four days. We were in ROTJ Luke and Mara Jade costumes for one of the days.

    Oh yeah, also named two of my four dogs Lando and Leia. :)

    Definitely all the Star Wars board games I play. And the Star Wars minis I've painted.

    My wife always teases me because she came home one time and found me painting minis, listening to ABBA, and drinking gin. It was a good night, though! :p

    I bought a car that's very stormtrooper-ish (White with black leather interior) and tried to get a custom plate for FN-2187 (which is a legal plate) but it was already taken.

    Every time I reply with way too much information when a casual or non-fan asks me a Star Wars related question. Every time I dressed up as a Star Wars character for Halloween and acted out scenes. Every time I put on my Boba Fett onesie. Every time I add more Star Wars décor to my office. So pretty much every day I'm thinking to myself, "This may be the geekiest thing I've ever done."

    My wedding cake had a pair of custom figures on it as a cake topper. Mace Windu (customized to be white with a goatee. the "bald" already worked well for me) and Leia.

    Remembered a few more. :D Back in the day I used to help out with my church's youth group, hanging out with the kids, running powerpoint and stuff. Every week, I'd bring my toy lightsabers(the ones that extend and light up and make sounds) for the kids to have duels with. It was fun. The sabers broke though...
    One summer, I worked at a kids camp and there was this one night game we'd play with the kids where they'd go around in groups trying to find staff members who were hiding and answer questions in order to get tickets. The group with the most tickets won. Naturally, when they found me, I would ask them Star Wars related questions: "Who did Leia dress up as in Jabba's Palace?" That kind of thing. It was great fun.
    Also that summer, it wasn't too long after TPM came out and one week all the kids were Star Wars fans, so I played Duel of the Fates on a stereo and all the kids went at eachother with sticks on the play field. Best. Week. Ever.
