What’s the geekiest Star Wars related thing you’ve done?

Hahaha...my wedding Cake had Vader and Queen Amidala funk pop figures on top.
And during the cerimony I walked in playing Throne Room and End Tittle.

 

The geekiest Star Wars thing for me:

I once worked with an English particle physicist over e-mail on a theoretical outline for what our world's version of a lightsaber might be if advancements were possible.

It was basically a particle accelerator in the hilt along with a UV laser.
In short, it spits out positrons protons via accelerator and ionizes the air in volume via the UV laser, and a "skin" forms (due the positron proton excitation), but is immediately destroyed because of the plasma heat. So somewhat like the Sun's surface.

The problem is, however, that two of these touching would be like swinging two running chainsaws at each other, but at forces on the level of a jet engine.

edit: Accidentally wrote "positron" when I meant "proton". Sorry for the confusion.

Helped run a massive fan campaign to get Jaina Solo the winning spot for the Black Series fan choice. I spent an absurd amount of energy and time. All for a piece of plastic lol.

 

Mine isn't too out-there, but I created this elaborate SW Sith character based off of myself and I, on occasion, will dress up in full makeup and regalia and take photos.

 

Hmm. I've read many SW books... I've played bunches of SW music on my violin... I crocheted my avatar... I also have dressed up like Tenel Ka for Halloween a few times. That just about sums it up.

 

Went to a Star Wars celebration. I did feel very geeky about that.

 

I created a SW-themed scavenger hunt for my best friend’s cousin’s birthday party complete with stormtrooper battles and a boss battle with Darth Vader (me in a cape.)

 

Wrote a 300 page two-part Episode IX after being horrified at Episode VIII. Yep, nutty.

 

Mine would have been literally playing out all the films as a kid. Like LARPing with friends in public. Now that I look back on it, not my proudest moments and I'm somewhat embarrassed just thinking about it. Now I just stick to the Wizards of the Coast SW roleplaying game.

 

Painted the Rebel Alliance Starbird in my friends closet while helping them get ready to move in, when she found it I got a phone call and vividly remember "I knew you would do something like that!"

 

I have written some fan fiction (which I have never done) and I am about to do a music video (which I did used to do for other shows) and finally I went to Star Wars Celebration 2016 in London

 

I used Star Wars as the material for my MA thesis. Totally worth it. The writing process is dreadful now that I have some non-SW parts to deal with...

 

An analysis of the themes, motifs, and score-writing process of the prequel scores. And a close comparison, audio and text, of Vader's lines and vocal mannerisms across all his audiovisual appearances. No one knew about either of these. They were for my own interest. lol.

He ended up with an advanced TIE Fighter bed, a three foot diameter Death Star light fixture, and a room painted black with stars and planets painted on it, a twelve inch Star Destroyer blue tooth speaker, and some thee inch TIE fighters hanging from the ceiling.

 

OK....a couple of Halloween's ago, I got a full Vader outfit, high quality one. With a full head helmet and a good quality light saber. Being 6'6" I could do a pretty good Vader! As we were walking around the neighborhood my sons and I noticed a green saber coming down the street the other direction.....Luke Skywalker! The crowd gathered around us as we approached each other in the middle of the street....then we had a pretty good saber battle with the crowd cheering......
