    During my high school graduation (2007), I paid the AV Club kid to play the "Imperial March" after they announced my name. I pulled a green lightsaber from under my robe, light it up and did some spin kicks. Definitely got a stand ovation, and almost got my diploma taken away after. Guidance counselor ready stuck up for me, thank god.
    I had seen some blurry flip phone videos after, but wish they still existed... :/

    At my wedding reception the wedding party entered to "The Emperor's Arrives" from ROTJ.

    These things weren't done intentionally because of Star Wars, but...

    I married a woman from Modesto, CA (George Lucas' home town) and her birthday is May 4.

    Our fourth child (IV) is named Hope. When she was born she was a new Hope.

    The very beginning of it has a very "royal fanfare horns" thing going but yeah, the rest is a bit dark to those not in the know. Unfortunately the volume was a little low so I'm not sure how many people heard it :(

    That's not really a geek thing. A super geek thing I've done is try to make a Grand Moff Tarkin fan film/stop motion. I still have the first scene, and it's just as bad as I remember it being. Kind of wish I finished it.

    The geekiest Star Wars thing I've ever done is try to convince my boyfriend that we should name one of our future children
    Sky for the first name, and Walker for the middle name. So their name would be Sky Walker lol. I think it's great, he does not agree.

    There's one or two Star Wars enthusiasts round here I've heard. Turn that frown into its equal but opposite orientation (boy, I wish there was a snappier way to phrase that).
    I’m sure he’ll eventually pay the price for his lack of vision . . . . . . . . . . . that sounded more ominous than I meant it to :D

    Geekiest thing I 've done:

    Wrote a gushing fan letter to a cast member to let them know much I was touched and inspired and downright blessed by their performance. Good art really is rejuvenating for the soul!
