Well I've read a lot of horror novels but I don't think I've ever read a zombie novel, except the Zombie Survival Guide but that was more of a tongue-in-cheek manual than a novel. I'm mainly just a fan of the old Romero zombie movies and haven't gotten into all the various movies and shows that have been part of the recent zombie craze. I'll probably check them out at some point but I have some other reading piled up.

I hope the Yuzhan Vong never come back. They were awful. And I hope all the death star like weapons like Centerpoint Station, The Sun Crusher and the Darksaber all stay non-canon, the overuse of death star like weapons was frustrating.

I forget what they're called, but the aliens with horse heads can kindly stay in Legends, thank you very much.

I hate to break it to you my friend, but...

    http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Zombie

    http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Project_Blackwing

... Zombies have already infiltrated the new Canon. Not in a major way, but they are there. Not a zombie fan myself.

As for me, I always thought the reborn Clone Emperor was particularly terrible.

Except of couple of comics (Legacy, etc.), I never read much of old EU, but I guess I wouldn't want anything that contradicts Lucas' vision of the Force. So, I wouldn't want anything 'absent in the Force' like Yuuzhan Vong or able to repel the Force like ysalamir (which was actually Filoni's explanation why they weren't brought back with Thrawn). In GFFA, everything is of the Force or connected to it. So, unless they are considerably changed to fit that for the new canon, leave them where they are - in the Legends.

Here are a few things I don't want to see again:

1-Boba Fett as a demigod. He was way overpowered in the comics and novels and it made his movie version look really stupid.

2-Everything related to the horrible thing that was Masters of Teras Kasi.

    3-Hohass Ekwesh
    Hohass_ekwesh.jpg
This abomination shouldn't have seen the light of day.

I played the hell out of that game, back in the day. Was it clunky? Yes. Were there better alternatives for beat-em up's? Yes. But damn, a beat-em up in the SW universe at that time made me feel funny in the knees.
Though I agree 100% of leaving it out of the canon. I shred to many (old) Expanded Universe stories across multiple platforms (games, comics, novels and the like), but trying to keep it all into the same continuity at times just didn't make sense.

    Back to the list:

A Jedi Master Bunny. No way. In hindsight, compared to this Jaxxon is the greatest EU character ever :p

Bummer. At least they just kept it to a video game. I think I can handle that. I never considered the Nightsisters' dead army as zombies because they weren't virus-spreading cannibals. Instead they were more like the skeletons warriors in Army of Darkness.

    - Yuzhan Vong;
    - Palpatine´s soul transmigration (this is just silly, but in the canon it is a theme much more compelling with the arc of Cylo V in Darth Vader comics).
    - Ysalamiri: seriously, praise to Timothy Zhan for the triunfal return of Star Wars with the Thrawn Trillogy, but the ysalamiris were just a lame and lazy attempt to make Thrawn untouchable by the Force, diminishing his intelectual strength.

I'm not crazy about them either but I guess they needed SOME way for Thrawn to be able to keep C'Baoth's powers in check. Off the top of my head I can't really come up with a better option, some sort of technology that can affect the Force probably wouldn't have been much better. While I'm not a fan of the literary device I don't think it diminishes Thrawn's intellectual strength. Maybe Zahn's but not Thrawn's.

Too late for that, but I wish weird lightsaber colours had never crept into canon... Filoni seems to love them... I really don't. PT clearly suggested anything beyond blue, green and red is extremely uncommon and I wish it stayed that way even from the out-of-universe perspective.

In the last month or so, I've discovered this thing called The EU Rebellion. Sort of a movement of EU/Legends fans who want the EU to continue as its own separate continuity from the Canon universe. One of their principles is that the EU shouldn't be cherry-picked for ideas for Canon stories, that Canon ought to stand on its own and be completely new and different.

The cherry-picking thing kind of makes sense, since the Canon story team pretty much has all the creative freedom you could ask for and can tell any story they want and create any character, planet, species or tech they need.

Personally, I can't think of any one thing in the EU that I wouldn't want to see in Canon. Eventually, I'm sure we'll see analogues to plenty of EU ideas in Canon just because some things are too ingrained into the identity of the franchise to leave out.

I haven't read the novels (though I do plan to read the first one) but I loved the first game and even though the second was disappointing I didn't hate it. While I thought TFU was a really fun game/story it never made it into my head canon. If it did I probably would have ignored the second game as they should have just left the pretty good ending of the first game alone and it ended up dragging the story back out only to leave it as a huge loose end with the cliffhanger that was never resolved. At least not in the games, I'm not sure if Starkiller returned in any other media. Also Starkiller was too powerful and I didn't care for the inflated role in the saga they gave him, such as having him help form the Alliance (or the circumstances of that in general) and the Starbird being his family crest. I also wasn't crazy about the idea that Vader not only a secret apprentice but one he raised from childhood. It sure was a fun game though, and I did like Starkiller in spite of those problems. He was kind of bland but I felt bad for the guy. I don't suppose somebody raised/trained by Vader is going to have the greatest personality or sense of humor.

Love the name by the way.

    Marriage naming conventions for females.
If I see another name like Jade Skywalker or Solo Fel it would be too soon. (It would have been fine with hyphens, but noooooo. Have to be Jade Skywalker and Solo Fel... *shakes head*.

I really want Lord Vitiate to stay in legends. He ruined the Old Republic story with his absurd Force abilities of immortality, that are just in place to keep him alive so the writers did not have to write a new villain, plus he had nothing unique about as a Character he was just "an Emperor." with no original traits. Their are soooo many badass Sith in Star Wars Canon and Legends and he will never even come close.
