The first few levels are only with blaster, and that’s still fun, but once you get your lightsaber things really get awesome

Oh have fun! That game has one of the best villains in the new canon! And the later game stuff is fascinating!

I'm a few hours into the game now, being somewhere in the middle of exploring Zeffo, and the game's been absolutely fantastic thus far. There are a few gamey things (Tomb Raider style fiddly obstacles) that annoys me, but it's not a big deal. Also, the animal slaughter is a bit disturbing... Still, the story is awesome!

Late to the party but I played Detroit Become Human and I really loved it.

Really got awful endings the first times ...

Good thoughtfull story very relevant to these days.

I take it back. This game is friggin' infuriating!
I'm SO over sliding on ice and moving puzzles around; this does not make for a powerful story!
Not sure I'm going to finish this game, sadly... :(

I'd say try out an online guide and push through. Yes, the puzzle mechanics and backtracking sucks, but the story is worth it. Also, don't worry about difficulty. My friend and I both ended up turning the difficulty down during certain parts (me for the final two bosses, him halfway through I think) just so we could enjoy the story instead of being aggravated by a silly trooper or monster killing us again...and again...and again...

We're already playing on the easiest level... Spent over 30 attempts to slide down the ice thing, grab the rope, jump onto the wall and side-run along it to the other side. I feel like punching someone for inserting these stupid drama-stops that adds nothing but frustration to the game. I thought we were done with this lame game design in the 90s!

...in that case, watching a playthrough is a perfectly acceptable thing to do!

Oh, my gf has a walkthrough loaded as we play. But that doesn't help with the stupid ice-sliding things. (I'm starting to suspect there's something wrong with the controler... That said, it's probably me... that and the idiotic game design).

Terminator: Resistance (2019). Whatever this game's "objective" quality may be, it is the best piece of content this franchise has produced in a very long time.

I'm currently, slowly working my way through my latest Blue Lions/Azure Moon playthrough on Fire Emblem: Three Houses. It's kind of disappointing this time around though, and I'm really tempted to just start a new playthrough to be with my lovely Golden Deers (and romance either Shamir or Marianne).

You see, every character has strengths, weaknesses, and neutral skills in game. I'm trying to get a certain character named Hilda to learn a long-distance spell called Bolting, as she's one of the three characters in the game that can learn it.

The problems are that 1)Hilda is a physical character, so having her learn this spell is nothing more than a bragging right, 2)Hilda has to get very good at Reason magic to learn this spell (an A in Reason...when she starts at E), 3) this messes up Hilda - one of the BEST physical units in the game for the long-run, making her practically unsalvageable due to the amount of time you have to spend with her in a mage-associated class; and 4) I'VE ALREADY DONE THIS BEFORE.

Three Houses has a New Game+ feature, where you can unlock skill levels and whatnot from previous playthroughs by saving over an old playthrough when prompted to. I've done this a couple of times over the same save file, and the benefits are so nice: You don't have to spam characters in flowers and gifts to recruit them; you can have more time at the beginning of the game to grind and do stuff; and you can have your students learn skills they usually wouldn't have time to learn (or max out their skills in one particular area).

During my last playthrough - a Golden Deer run that I started...either in January or late last year - I sacrificed Hilda in order to achieve this goal of her learning that spell, since I had the time and resources due to NG+. However, I didn't save over that playthrough properly, and I lost EVERY SINGLE ACHIEVEMENT gained on that playthrough. I still had backup files from other playthroughs, but it was rough losing that one.

Fortunately, this time around I've learned my lesson, and I'll create multiple save files before the endgame.

For ships/pairs, this time around it'll go:
    Dimitri x Belle (Byleth)
    Dedue x Shamir
    Felix x Annette
    Sylvain x Mercedes
    Lysithea x Linhardt
    Caspar x Hilda
    Ashe x Hapi
Balthus x Constance (I'm not happy about this one, but they just don't have any other good supports)*
    Yuri x Dorothea
    Raphael x Bernadetta
    Ingrid x Ignatz
    Marianne & Hanneman
    Seteth x Manuela
(I am) Ferdinand (von Aegir) x Flayn
    Petra x Cyril

Gilbert, Alois, and Catherine are benchwarmers this time around...I mean, Gilbert and Alois are almost ALWAYS benchwarmers, but sometimes I use Catherine. Catherine's best pairings are with Shamir or Ashe, but I want to see how Shamir and Dedue's A-support looks, despite me knowing their paired ending; and Ashe is taken by Hapi - they're just too cute together and I love their ending! Catherine's ending with Lindhardt on non-AM routes is also good, but Linhardt and Lysithea are the best pairing, and Catherine & Linhardt's supports aren't that good.

*Constance & Byleth's S-support is beautiful though, but she can only marry the M!Byleth
