    Had mike’s hard lemonade. I don’t like drinks that don’t taste like alcohol at all. It’s deceiving. I’ll stick to wine. Not that I drink a lot anyway

    So the moral of this story is: If you get a cheap bottle of wine from somebody, say you'll save it for a special occasion (they'll feel flattered) and then forget it or 20 odd years, it'll taste better than it originally did! :confused:

    I think that German quality thing is only for export products... the Germans themselves won't ever waste their tastebuds to that muck! (save perhaps some poor acoholics... :()

    Dr. Pepper is a great choice!

    Awesome to have that choice! The cinema's I usually go to are not that big, so choices at the bar are limited. Just Coke, Sprite and Fanta for us. :(

    I will probably open either open it for my birthday or Christmas

    Absolutely the Germans definitely only export the cheap nasty stuff of course it helps if for some totally inexplicable reason other actually want to drink the stuff ie us Brits in the 80s & 90s :p.

    & yes Dr Pepper dose have a slight Cherry flavour but I absolutely love anything with Cherry’s so the bigger the Cherry hit the better.

    Weirdly enough, I live in a rare country in that regard... We keep the nasty, crappy stuff to ourselves and export all of our A-grade quality produce to the rest of the world! :confused:
    That's why Dutch poducts have such an excellent reputation!
    Alas for the Dutchies, we are left withe B or C-grade stuffs from both other countries AND our own... :(

    Just over the last 10 years it has gone a little bit better.
    Heineken for instance are now also selling their export quality pilsner here in the Netherlands! :cool: (Yey!)
    What we were previously presented with, had no buisness even being in the same warehouse with the Export stuff! It was THAT bad! :eek:

    I agree! Especially when they use Amarene-cherries, there's almost an Amaretto-almond kind of flavor to it! Yum! :p

    I had a Manhattan a few nights ago. Let me tell you it tasted horrible. I think most alcoholic beverages do unless you really mask the taste. Except wine. Wine is good

    I also had an exceptional Bourbon this holiday with close friends, one of them is Muhammad Ali's only son. His father is still legally called Cassius Clay his son is legally Muhammad Ali. Great times... back to 64oz of water a day and tea... its good to take a break from it all.

    So I have been enjoying this fantastic while from Mt Etna over the last couple of nights it’s from various vinyards at about 800M on the East side of the Volcano from 80 year old Carricante (a local grape variety).
