What are you guys into?

Movies: Star Wars 1 to 6 + Clone Wars, Vincent Ward: The Navigator & What Dreams May Come (all his others to some extent), The Song of the Sea and The Secret of Kells, LotR, City of Lost Children and Amelie, Hayao Miyazaki's movies, BBC Shakespeare series.

Music: Beatles and solo particularly George and Paul, Brian Wilson and the Beach Boys, Yes, Mozart, Henry Purcell, Stevie Wonder

Books: The Inklings, Tolkien, C S Lewis, Owen Barfield, Charles Williams, George MacDonald, John Cowper Powys, A E Van Vogt, Colin Wilson, David Bentley Hart, Gregory of Nyasa, Paramahansa Yogananda & Paramahansa Prajnanananda

Other interests: recording librivox audiobooks and the occasional youtube video, family.

 

I love the dollars trilogy and Yojimbo.

Greatest comedy ever made.

 

Star Wars is my favorite by far, but the Marvel movies are really great too. I'm also a huge fan of Blade Runner. I'm a fan of movies in general. I watch everything from old classic noirs and foreign films to the latest blockbusters.

As far as current material other than Star Wars, I am really looking forward to the fourth season of The Expanse and the fourth season of Rick and Morty. I think The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel is one of the best shows on TV right now. I can't wait to see what Denis Villeneuve does with Dune.

Outside of entertainment, I like craft beers and learning to cook. I like biking and running (or trying to run) on trails and kayaking. I haven't been kayaking in a while. I sold my kayaks when we moved.
