Currently reading Fleet of Worlds by Larry Niven & Edward M. Lerner. Book 1 of a 4 part story that gives closure to Niven's 'Known Space' series (Ringworld, Protector, A Gift From Earth, etc etc). It came out a few years ago but i avoided it because Niven was really loosing his touch during his last few books. My friend who originally lent me Ringworld many decades ago said i had to check it out and WOW- he's back and the book (so far) is as good as his best stuff from his heyday. Then again Niven was always best when he co-wrote with someone. Looking forward to seeing how it all wraps up. The Puppeteers are bigger manipulative galactic assholes then ever.

I just finished Fall of Light, the second book in The Kharkanas Trilogy, by Steven Erikson and Dancer's Lament, the second book the Path to Ascendancy Trilogy, by Ian C. Esslemont. Both are set in the Malazan world.

For those who like Game of Thrones (Or A Song of Ice and Fire, if they are book readers), Erikson's The Malazan Book of the Fallen is, and I say this as someone who loves A Song of Ice and Fire, is a thousand times deeper, more complex and exciting. This world is so amazing, so enthralling that I am now at loss for what to read next. :(

With Fantastic Beasts and The Cursed Child this year, I decided to reread Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone for the five trillionth time. Still good, though there are some funny bits of early installment weirdness.

I'm finally reading some Star Wars canon novels. I'm onto Lost Stars, just having finished Bloodline.

Now reading Proxima by Stephan Baxter really good stuff so far, half way through, and timely with the discovery of an Earth like planet orbiting Proxima centauri. Also recently read Saga vols 1-3 which is top class sci-fi/fantasy with an adult edge.

    Currently, I'm into:
The "Young Sherlock" saga (reading the 6th book, Knife Edge):
[IMG] <- this is really my book, only the first 4 books are available in French so I bought the whole saga (except the first three) in English

"L'Espion de Richelieu" (Richelieu's Spy) Trilogy (reading the second book, the Duke of the Shadows)

But also, the Enola Holmes Saga, The Arsène Lupin Saga and I'm going to buy the 6th pocket-sized book of The Secrets of the Immortal Nicholas Flamel.

If I had to suggest some books, those mentioned above are wonderful. The Robert Langdon Tetralogy (Angels and Demons, The Da Vinci Code, the Lost Symbol and Inferno) and Harry Potter are also superb!
    More specifically:
If you like books about time travel, I can suggest you the Time Riders saga. It's awesome!!!!!
If you like mythology, the Rick Riordan's books are wonderful too (and quite correct when talking about mythology stories).
If you prefer youth sagas, the Magic Tree House, the 39 clues and The Time Detectives are excellent. In my opinion, they can also be read by adults and they contains a lot of historical informations (the 39 clues less than the two others).
For the post-Apocalyptic lovers, the Maze Runner saga is quite good.
If you love comics adventure, The Adventures of Tintin are wonderful!
Finally, if you admire the Roman Empire, my advice is to read the Adventures of Alix (comics)

I'm not reading anything at the moment but plan to start reading this when I get the chance. It was a birthday present. :)

I also really want to order these. They both look really enjoyable.

I love Heroic fantasy. I am reading Robert Jordan's the Eye of The World, there is so much lore and epic nerdy ness.
