What do you expect to see in the main scene featuring darth vader ?

And then he proceeds to destroy some other members of the crew.

Either that or he chokes on Krennic towards the end. Or both.

Bonus points if there's a post credits scene featuring Vader boarding the Tantive IV from his perspective (because that would be AWESOME)

 

I expect to see:

- His breathing

- In his first space battle as "Vader"

- he force chokes someone (possibly Jyn Erso)

i DOUBT there would be any post credits scenes (vader's breathing at the end of ROTS was an exception) and krennic has been built so highly that I doubt he would die, at least at the hands of Vader and, if so, then it would be mentioned off-camera

Really? Honestly, that's one of the few ways I can see Krennic going right now. He's built up so grand, so to use him as a way to show the presence and threat of Vader during the time and having Krennic's hubris be his downfall (especially if he thinks he's better than Vader, only to be killed by him).

 

What I mean is that with Krennic being the main villian, I cant imagine him going out with a force choke or a saber to his gut for failing his mission...unless he somehow manages to pull a blindfold over te sith though vader might try to kill him and is shocked that krennic can get away and the two end up having a hated respect for each other.

 

Keen eye! You’re absolutely right, you can even see the scan lines typical for holograms in Star Wars.

And yes, I know a three-year-old one who can’t discriminate between force ghosts and holograms in those flicks. But we’re working to improve this.

I'm guessing we'll see him throwing around some rebels, maybe force throwing his lightsaber at someone (this will gain you +10 Fartkraum points Gareth, there's still time to shoot this)

I expect a couple of scenes with him on a star destroyers, talking to whoever that is in the bacta tank (maybe Snoke) then probably standing on the bridge while a space battle goes on.. after taking out Krennic.

P.S. Is Orson Krennic a reference to Orson Welles? He was one of the first suggestions to voice Vader..

I highly doubt we'll see him use his saber but maybe we'll see him at ignite it, see Orson accept his fate, and then cut to another scene and/or hear his death instead of see it

its either a quick Vader in the background scene or full Vader..... None of that bull.......

 

I said that because it could possibly be an issue with the ratings censors .

 

we have seen limbs and Aliens cut half......we seen a stormtrooer and Han Solo get gutted, I doubt they would hold back for ratings .... PG 13 is very liberal these days....

Yes I did but that was the 70s before the ratings became even stricter but I guess it had something to do with "fantasy" violence or the like .

 

Well that could easily be chaulked up to either the vfx constraints at the time and/or Lucas deciding more on the sabers' tech as the years went by .
