Krayt dragons and luck dragons: who would win in a fight? The krayt dragon might be physically superior and more aggressive... but the luck dragon would only need one extremely fortunate knock-out blow. :D

Now we just need a lightsaber weapon like the Glaive from Krull.

    Sorry, getting off topic.

I think TRoS will not only bring a finality to current story arcs in the sequel trilogy, but try to connect more with the originals and prequels for an overall sense of closure to the Skywalker story.

But just as Avengers: Endgame was definitely an ending, that doesn’t mean some characters will not continue new stories of their own.

I also think after a certain amount of time, maybe after they make a trilogy of Old Republic movies, they could make another trilogy that takes place after this one. I think every generation will have a Star Wars for them to grow up with, and I like the idea of that.

I never expressed such a thing.
You may not understand all of what you read - and plus, you may interpret what you've understood of what you've read.
But avoid to place your interpretation in my mouth, with the bonus of a "BS" mention addressed to me. That's totally unfair.

"because Disney will be free from any royalty and fees due to the old stuff they don't own..."

How was my interpretation "unfair"? They wouldn't be making all these projects connecting to the Skywalker Saga if they didn't own them.

Disney paid $4billion for the IP. That is a 4 with 9 zeros... Of course they do not pay royalties on top of that. They bought the entire IP, not a license for it.

In addition, and I don't think this is widely recognize, they paid $4b in Disney shares to Lucas, not cash, so it is in Lucas' best interest to let Disney profit on the IP. (I remember reading somewhere that Lucas' Disney shares had doubled in value since he sold the IP back in 2012).

I think I recall reading the sale price of $4.05billion was half in shares and half in cash, but it’s a good point either way. and the last time I checked, those shares had indeed increased in value significantly.

    Clever bloke that George. :)

"Skywalker" Saga [story of father and offspring, Anakin and Luke/Leia] ---> "Solo" Saga [story of Solos' offspring, Ben (and Rey?)] ---> ???

The Star Wars IP is far too valuable to simply conclude anything in any definitive manner. So far, every "Star Wars Story" has at least tangentially been related to the original "Skywalker Saga." Rogue One had both Darth Vader and Leia in it, not to mention the Death Star (and Emperor) that a "Skywalker" later destroys... Solo is the origin story of the father of the last known "Skywalker" in the ST, his best friend of Wookiee descent, and introduces the whole idea of the Rebellion starting with Enfys Nest... the Obi Wan series is going to be set in the period where he is supposedly looking out for the "New Hope"... the Mandalorian is going to be set five years after the fall of the Empire and before the rise of the First Order, of which the last known "Skywalker" will assume control and all of the relevant "Skywalkers" exist except Anakin...

Everything to date still "revolves" around the "Skywalker Saga" and quite frankly I would be shocked if it does not continue to do so. Instead, I think the end of the "Skywalker Saga" will simply be the end of the story arc that deals with the fall of Anakin Skywalker, the rise of Darth Vader and Emperor Palpatine, and the legacy they left behind. In other words, it seems that the principal villian over the entire "Skywalker Saga" has been Palpatine and the "darkness within" the Skywalkers that he brought about. Therefore, it makes perfect sense to me that the conclusion of the "Skywalker Saga" will be about eliminating Palpatine and his dark influence over the Skywalkers once and for all.

But my overall point is that while they are calling this the "End" of the Skywalker Saga, it will never really end because everything revolves around it in one way or another. Anything during the age of the Old Republic will ultimately lead to it... and anything that comes after will similarly be influenced (in universe) by it.

It is the greatest epic story that the Star Wars universe (galaxy?) has ever seen or perhaps will see...

    Memory isn't to bad!

"Based on Disney's closing price on Oct. 26, the deal is valued at roughly $4.1 billion. Disney (DIS) will pay half that value in cash and issue 40 million shares of Disney to pay for the rest. Also included in the deal are special-effects house Industrial Light & Magic, Skywalker Sound and video game company LucasArts."

"Lucas, who receives 40 million Disney shares from the deal, will be the second-largest non-institutional shareholder of Disney, Bloomberg News says, behind the trust of deceased Apple co-founder Steve Jobs."

No more Luke, Han, Leia, 3PO, R2, Millenium Falcon, Lando.....that is the end of a saga in my estimation....
