    Nothing.

    There were maybe 5 seats empty in my theater.
    At the start one guy yelled in a false baritone "YeaHHHhhh!"

    And at the end as the music started it was deathly quiet. I even sat there thinking "Wow. NO one is applauding?"

    When I went in I said to my friend "The last time I saw a theater this packed for a Matinee was for Karate Kid (1984)"

    Ah, in my theater it was pretty lively!

    BB-8's thumbs up got the entire theater laughing it was awesome. and people shouted HAN! when we saw him the first time.

    My theory is that Leia got the least applause since the scene she appears at is sort of emotionally mixed. I was feeling like crying but wanted to clap at the same time. Aside of it, Leia has changed so much that you might take a minute to realise "Oh, she is Leia".

    Out of the new characters at least according to my theater the most liked to least liked

    Rey > BB-8 > Poe > Kylo Ren > Finn > Snoke > Maz Kanata

    This didn't exactly get 'the most applause', but when an entire bus load of young kids and their teacher all arrived together into a showing which had 99.9% adults sitting in it, the reaction from the adults was utter horror and contempt for their arrival. ;)

    The theater where I saw it the audience cheered at all the above scenes but cheered loudest when Rey force snatched the light saber from Kylo Ren.

    Been 4 times.
    The best crowd was opening night- many cheers for numerous scenes.
    Probably the biggest - when the lightsaber went to Rey.

    The Millenium Falcon reveal. And when Han and Chewie walked in and he said "We're Home".

    Both were pretty close in applause level.

    Opening night, surprisingly no reaction to "A long time ago..." or the crawl. Biggest laugh/cheer was for BB8's thumbs up but the biggest applause was for the Falcon. And now that it has been mentioned, the saber going to Rey was another loud moment. I wanted to hear everything and was very engrossed both times I went I wasn't making any noise.
