I'm a anti prohibition activist in Florida. Besides that I'm just studying in college.

I work like a dog half the time, so I don't have time for any activities other than visiting the Cantina. When I do get some time off, I usually catchup on sleep, and will go out and practice filming with my DSLR. I mainly work in web dev and some video work, but over the years I've slowly built up skills and collected equipment for the purpose of one day making a decent fan film that everyone will enjoy.

I work a ton. When I have time, I still try to play some video games, and do film work when I can. I used to write a ton, but it's been years.

Other than that it's either whiskey in the garage, or reading in bed.

Well I played in a few bands for over 20 years. Opened for a few bands that some of you may have heard of. Exodus, Overkill, Six Feet Under, Fear Factory, Great White, Redd, LA Guns to name a few. Never did get that big break though :( I retired from performing live this past winter.

Since 2007 I have been a Father. That my friends is what I do now full time \m/

Cool, @WookieeMonster. We've got drums, guitars, a violin, trumpet, flutes galore, various other crap and music soft-ware... and never did anything with it. It sounds like you have the talent. You should really think about trying to get into writing for others (like BMI), or reaching out to indie film companies.

@emphram, what sort of DLSR do you have?

You know @Suicide Samurai I have tossed around the idea of writing for publishing company, but never even thought of reaching out to indie film companies. I'm gonna look into that thanx \m/

No problem. I mean, radio (pop song) wise, I hear songs and I get ideas that could be used in film for scenes, or help me want to write a scene. Having a musician who can write a song to fit a scene is pretty damn important. John Williams made Star Wars as much as Queen made "The Highlander," in my opinion.

Now that our kids have all left home, my wife and I restore classic musclecars and build hot rods for fun...it's like a second job sometimes.

What sort of hot rods are you into?

Most of my restoration projects have been Chevrolet of various eras. I got hooked on cars in high school
when my Dad and I bought and restored a 1957 Bel Air we discovered in a barn.

We made another barn discovery a few years ago, a dusty dry-rotted 1972 Rolls Royce SS and decided
to try something different. We got it cheap, and It was a learning experience to say the least!

We restored and sold a bunch of cars over the years, but these two are my babies, my keepers. It's
the '72 Rolls, and my '72 Nova, the last cars Dad and I finished together-

Right now, we've got an '81 Vette in the garage that we found in a barn...been sitting over 10 years and largely forgotten...46k miles. Mice DESTROYED the interior so it's gutted. Not much of a "hot rod" per se, but it was cheap and we can whip it out fast...it'll be the wifes when it's finished.

Prior to the Vette (6 weeks ago) we were in the middle of our '68 Chevelle SS..I've owned it for 25 years and my kids once rode in it in carseats. :) It's a frame-off resto that we'll finish this winter, but for the next 90 days (or so) it's napping in storage..

Before that was an early '65 Mustang fastback that was destined to be a Shelby clone restomod...until someone in Canada found out I had it and showed up at my door with a check....literally. :) It had been rear-ended when it was 9 months old in 1966 and had been sitting ever since and was largely picked apart, but we got everything gathered for it The bodywork was complete and in sealer on a dolly, and was about 30 days from reassembly...the offer was one I could not refuse! :)
I come from a line of family owned bodyshops (both sides of the family) and while I worked in that industry in my youth, I moved on to my own career, and now it's a hobby that is the best fun!

Standin' in the rain, with his head hung low...:D

Somewhere, I know there's a picture of the interior of my old 57 Bel Air, and in that photo, there's this plastic
ten-slot 8-track tape holder I mounted on the floor and in it, among other things, is Foreigner 4.

I'll have to dig it up...
