What is the idea behind your username?

Well, the name Another Locust is my gamertag. Anyway, 4 years ago I was sick of my uber MLG gamertag and decided to spend $10 to change it. Problem was that I had absolutely no idea what to change it to. Another Locust was the first thing that popped into my mind so I went with it.

Most people just call me Locust though

 

The name Emi Takori comes from a fanfiction I am writing. For years I wondered what my name would be in the SW universe and then as I sat down to write my story it hit me.

Emi is short for my name Emily. Takori had no origin, I just started typing last names that seemed to fit in the SW universe and Takori proved to fit.

 

Well Almost everywhere on the internet I use Bamboosle. I took that from a FRIENDS episode where Joey tries out for a new tv game ' Bamboozled'. Then i made it star warsy by mixing it with BB-8

 

FN designation should be self-explanatory.

3263827 is too long for a typical stormtrooper, but it refers to the sector of garbage compactors our trio falls into in ANH.

seemed fitting for someone who is trash for Star Wars.

 

Mine comes from a few years ago when I started playing World of Warcraft, in the Burning Crusade Xpac. At the time my I was loving the tv show Heroes and my favourite character was Sylar. So when I created my first WoW player I went with that, but it was already taken, I lazily threw in an i, and it's been my character/username for tons of stuff since. lol

 

Ulic Korien is a original character I created years ago since I attempted to write my own spin on the SW prequels. Thanks to TFA, I wouldn't have gone back to it and change things up more or less...add characters I never thought I could...I like that. So...Ulic Korien is a guy who is a smuggler and I am currently re-working his backstory and among others.

 

in German "alter Vogel" is "old bird" in English & I love Ernie and Bert from sesame street & I love Alec Guinness as "Old Ben" in ANH...& when you're a kind of crazy guy (in positive meaning) people in Austria say:"einen Vogel haben" (Vogel is Bird in engl.) ...
mixing all that together..voila "oldbert"
(and btw my real firstname also ends with"..ert")

Mine stems from a famous racehorse mare who won the Melbourne Cup, Empire Rose. She was a horse who had more guts and heart than all the others that day.

Also, I'm just a regular Jo who has Empire leanings, voila Empire Jo!

Mine is a play on Admiral Piett from the Star Wars movies. That plus, I had been told that I could be somewhat petty and vengeful when I played competitive games with my friends when I was younger, thus Admiral Petty was born. Don't worry, I'm less petty now that I'm older .

 

This is one I've had for a while, now. It was just something that popped into my head one day and I just stuck with it.
The inspiration of it was the comic Star Wars Infinities: Return of the Jedi. It was part of a trilogy of comics that changed a major event in each original trilogy film and showed how it changed the events. Personally, this one doesn't make much sense, but the ending is interesting. In this timeline, while Vader is still redeemed, both he and Palpatine survives, with the latter escaping. The comic ends with the redeemed Anakin Skywalker wearing a white version of his infamous armor:

This return from death (from a certain point of view) combined with a palette change to white reminded me of Gandalf in The Two Towers, hence the name "Vader the White".
And now someone needs to do "Dooku of Many Colors" as a username.

Just like how I knew I was forgetting what Finn's number was a reference to but knowing it was a reference, I knew your username was a reference, just forgetting what it was a reference to.

It is a truth not universally acknowledged that I became recently a Star Wars fan.

It started with the teasers and trailers for TFA, I had seen before Episode I and III but I didn't find them good enough to get me enticed to see the whole saga. Then looking for Halloween costumes I thought Rey's would be a good idea and I did it from scratch. So two months before the premiere I watched the OT for the first time ever and I got caught immediately into Star Wars!

By the time I joined The Cantina, Princess Leia was the first name I thought of, since I loved the character (I love Han Solo too, lol) and CB3 was partially my UK zip code.

Lol, it turns out I saw TPM after it was released and then went to see ROTS at the movie theatre but as I said, didn't care that much about watching them in order. But then after watching the OT I went through the prequels again and this time I watched AOTC lol.

 

Dark side is a path to many abilities that one can consider ... UnNATURAL .

My username comes from an experience quite similar to Luke's training in Dagobah.

I'm not a Jedi (yet), but I owe much to Yoda and wise people in my life.
