    That quote makes it sound like "this Sith Lord" is someone other than Vader. A holdover from Lucas' original concept, perhaps?

    I find it amazing that Lucasfilm still has all this old footage. 99% of the population, though, will never see it.

    Man, they really upped their game with the Death Star decor later on, eh? Something is definitely odd about those sabers too or have Vader and Kenobi just stolen a pair of table legs from some plastic garden furniture?

    ...and just wait for all the super-fans to wade in about how Vader's costume detail here is inconsistent with the sequence the style follows in other movies.


    Anyway, it may only be Wednesday and there might be yet another election to compound the world's problems, but remember folks...

    Vader had such a gloriously shiny helmet in his first two scenes in Return of the Jedi:

    Love it!

    I always felt like the eyes looked a little strange on the ROTJ mask, for some reason. Observe:

    I'm not sure what it is, but something about the mask looks less threatening and confident in ROTJ, to me. Which may have been on purpose, to give a slight visual clue of Vader's demise and Anakin's return. Or it could just be in my head. Either the lenses look larger or the helmet is raised a little compared to the mask.
