I am doing research for the most popular planet in Star Wars please leave a comment down below. The Death Star does not count considering it's a intergalactic death station.(epic fail)

    Good question this is, hmm...

    I would go for Coruscant:

It's a nice blend of sci-fi and fantasy. Clean and dirty.

Yavin IV Great Temple exterior corrected (final) trimmed and 892 wide.jpg Tikal Temples I, II and III (different angle).jpg

Yavin IV - jungle moon with a variety of interesting lifeforms and an ancient and vanished but enigmatic, mysterious race that build these unbelivable temples.

They are not a misterious race. They are humans, they are maians and this ancient city was called Tikal....hahhaha...jk
Good choice. I love Yavin too.

    But my favorite is Tatooine.

    Corellia

I never looked at anything in the EU with it. I am probably more in love with the idea of what is there and the old lore bits released about it in the 80s
    the Shipyards, etc.

Why we never see it in the movies, Clone Wars or Rebels is baffling to me! :)
    BAFFLING, I SAY! >_>

Coruscant has it all politics, power and prestige in the high levels , and a more survival, scum , scavenging urban feel in the lower levels makes this one world such a broad class system.. love to see this planet explored more at both levels.
Related much more easily to our own metropolisis

Hoth. I really don't have an explanation as to why it my favorite other than the Battle of Hoth in ESB is my favorite battle to watch.

I hope that we see Coruscanr at some capacity in The ST, or at least here about it...Rey seems like she could have been there till she was 5 before Jakku...just the vibe that I'm getting .

A friend of mine thought Hosnian Prime was Coruscant after his first time seeing TFA, so until he learned otherwise, he thought of its destruction as a massive anti-prequel statement. lol.

Tatooine hands down. Big fan of deserts and Tatooine just feels right. It's beautifully ugly which sounds wrong but it's just my thing.

Hmm...this is a tough one. I think I'm going to go with Starkiller Base simply because of the forest at the end of the film.
It's just so beautiful to me, especially since I love snow (something I've only encountered twice. I hate Louisiana...) and I especially love snow covered forests.
    Also, that set rocked.

I still think it should have been Coruscant. Not as an anti-prequel statement, but because it had more power before I learned it was Hosnian Prime than after. Why? Well, we've seen it before and we know it has a lot of history as the capital of the Republic, the capital of the Empire, and as the home of the Jedi Order for centuries if not millennia. And if it had been destroyed, all that would have gone with it, giving it more weight than a planet we've never seen before (though it still has weight since we actually see the horror on the people's faces at their incoming doom).
