What is your favorite version of the Clone/Stormtrooper?

Phase II Clone Troopers. They just look badass

 

Phase II Clone troopers. In particular, the 501st.

 

I like the use of color.

 

My vote was casted for the Phase 2, predominately because of it's numerous personalized, modified, and unique variations. All era's forms of armor have specifically modified functions and altered physical appearances depending on the environment and job of the soldier, but the clone's had the most creative customizations of their armor by far in my opinion.
I also like to see how each individual squadrons assigned to Jedi, have personalized armor and paintjobs. It brings a familiar sense of a team when you see different colored factions surrounding different Jedi, sort of reminiscent to "Gold Leader", "Red Leader", Blue Leader", and so on.



I also love the direction of the First Order trooper designs. It simplifies the stormtrooper armor, all the while maintaining a more than sleek image. A good move for the franchise.

 

I voted for Phase II Clone troopers as my overall favorite, but I also really like the GCW Era Stormtrooper.
They're all really cool, though!

 

I like the Phase 2 clone armor the best. I don't know why, but I just like it.

I went with Phase II but to me it is a split between it and GCW Stormtrooper. I've always Loved the design and look for GCW troopers. They're what inspired me to want to join the 501st. When RotS came out and I saw the upgraded armor, I just was nuts for it.

Imperial stormtrooper armor is iconic. I like the utilitarian look of it. Not stylistic like clone or FO troopers.

 

Phase 2 is utilitarian. Some even have rust stains.

 

If i had to pick a clone armor, I'd go with the clone commando. It's like scout armor, but it's camouflaged, which makes complete sense for a scout/commando.

 

Definitely all TCW era armor. They really got creative with their customizations - and I also feel the troopers themselves were the most effective and badass during that time.

Honorary mention to the Deathtrooper. By far my favorite iteration of the iconic armor to date.

 

Although my favorite "family" is Phase 2, my favorite personal individualized armor was the ARC trooper Phase 1. It looks the most like Mando gear.

 

My favorite is Phase II Armor, It just looks so cool

 

I really like the death troopers. They are a much better and advanced version than the originals. Also in Battlefront 2 the death troopers are great! I also really like phase 2 troopers. They just have a bit of a better feel to them and they did execute order 66.

 

TFA FO stormtroopers (is anyone surprised?)
don't love the changes in TLJ--they're not "ruined"--just prefer TFA).
i think the fact that they look happy actually makes them more sinister.



i also love the scarif shoretroopers and the tank commanders in Rogue One.

 

The Force Awakens First Order trooper. The armour is more practical to move in and has webbing features. I especially like the fact that it mirrors the look of modern special forces. The chest piece looks as if it is reinforced by a bulletproof vest and the helmet is a mixture between a stromtrooper helmet and a spec ops ballistic helmet

I really loved the design of the deathtroopers but was disappointed as to how they were portrayed on screen. After all the talk of them being the Navy Seals of Star Wars, I didn't expect them to move like this......
