My favourite one is Toy Story. Why? Well, when I was younger watching this film and imaging my toys were having adventures while I was not in the room shows how a Disney film can stick in your mind and widen your imagination. As well as having characters which you love and want to have adventures with yourself. Along with that it was the first Disney film I ever saw.

Toy Story 2, for basically the same reasons you gave, plus it has a Pablo Hidalgo lookalike (hahahaha) and a scene in an airport. Airports make for terrific film moments, IMO.

I did mean a film which is specifically Disney, which has its banner. Good choice all the same. :)

You mean the 2011 Winnie the Pooh film? You've reminded me of The Tigger Movie, I absolutely loved that when I was younger, had it on tape and watched it all the time. :):(

My favourite Disney movie is and always will be The Lion King.
This movie is simply awesome. So many themes you can adapt to real life and then this beautiful score. The movie is even educational. I think, everybody should have watched that movie at least once.

Fantasia and Sleeping Beauty. The battle between Prince Phillip and Maleficent is freaking fantastic and way ahead of it's time.

A wonderful favourite. Very sad the voice of Robin Hood died. :(

I have yet to watch Fantasia, I am aware that has a beautiful soundtrack. Sleeping Beauty, long ago I watched it.

Well, for best non-Star Wars Disney film, I would go with either Beauty and the Beast or The Hunchback of Notre Dame, the latter of which is the earliest film I remember seeing in theaters.

Are you happy that they are doing a live action remake?

What do you think of them doing a live action remake of Beauty and the Beast?

I will eventually. I'm still glad I've got the book though.

Mary Poppins. Van ****'s accent aside, still one of the most ambitious and fully realized live action Disney movies of all time. nearly note perfect throughout. For animation? Fantasia, Hunchback, Lion King, Sleeping Beauty all deserve a nod.

@AstromechRecords The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh is definitely one of the most underrated of Disney's films. People overlook it as overly simplistic and aimed at toddlers, but it's really a beautiful little small movie with a deeply ingrained thread of philosophy throughout.

From what I remember Chloƫ Grace Moretz is playing the mermaid, no release date yet I don't think.

The film is awesome, what do you think of the yet to be released sequel with Emily Blunt?

In general I think it's unnecessary. But I'm a big fan of both Blunt and Miranda, so I'm willing to give it a shot to prove me wrong.
