What musical themes would you like to see return to The Rise of Skywalker?

20th century fox fanfare.

Would love to hear a new rendition of Across the Stars.

If it is actually DS II and we return to Endor, maybe some JubJub.

 

The Throne Room March from the end of IV.

 

The Theme to The Godfather

 

A variation on The Asteroid Field from ESB would be a wonderful callback if there happens to be an intense space chase at some point.

Probably a given, so I won't add them to my list.

1) Duel Of The Fates - Kylo vs Rey vs Palpatine

2) Snowspeeder Rescue

3) A Jedi's Fury

Other than that, I'm open minded for some new juicy stuff. I'm hoping for a menacing First Order theme, Kylo's theme with chorus, Ben Solo theme, a new love theme.

 

As much as I want Duel of the Fates, I think it would be appropriate for us to hear the innocent melody of “Anakin’s Theme” one more time before the end of the saga.

 

I bet we get a good mix of OT and ST themes, not expecting much from the PT. Would love to hear some more of the newer themes, like Rose's theme and Kylo Ren's. More of Poe's theme would be cool as as well, since it's a little under utilized in my opinion. Very excited for more John Williams!

 

Definitely 'Into the Trap' from Return of the Jedi!!! One of the biggest things missing in the ST.

 

It's hard to imagine Duel of the Fates returning just because it's so associated with Maul and the prequels for me. But if there was a good thematic reason, I would LOVE to hear it again.

Perhaps the theme from the Darth Plagueis scene in RotS, to usher in the return of Ol' Sheevy?

Some more “unconventional” themes that I’d like to see (or I guess hear) in The Rise of Skywalker:

• Duel of the Fates (didn’t think of this one until I saw this thread.)
• Battle of the Heroes (just a really great piece that I wouldn’t mind hearing again.)
• Throne Room [ANH] (would make sense given the shot from the trailer of Leia holding a Yavin medal.)
• Battle at the Sarlacc
• A Jedi’s Fury
• The Ewok Theme (if the Death Star wreckage is on Endor.)
• Torn Apart
• The Spark

Emperor's theme is a given, same for Lando.

I would die of chills if Battle of the Heroes returned. But I think it's too specific for Anakin vs Obi-Wan. Duel of the Fates is more likely, since it was used for more than just the duel in TPM. Would be cool, but it would be even better if we got a new battle theme equally as good.
