    It must have been rude... Since C3PO was grieving over the fact his old friend was in comatose for a long time.

    Any idea?

    - "If I'd knew I'd wake up to see your face, I would have stayed permanently powered down"

    - "I observe that rust has finally got the upper hand (arm) on you"

    - taking to BB-8 "Hey, I see they got you a recycled sidekick"

    - "Damn, I thought you died along the prequel trilogy"

    Or maybe Kenny Baker insulted Anthony Daniels on the set and they kept the shot.

    I'm glad someone made a thread about this. I'm not a basher of the film, but this moment seemed really forced and out of place to me. It was so odd. R2 doesn't just insult 3PO without any provocation, or without being pestered by his incessant whining. This moment is like something written by a child. Without any prelude to the insult we really have no idea what was said. It's so odd.
