    I remember watching Poirot with my great-uncle when I was probably 3 or 4.
    Was way too young to really comprehend it lol. But he was the bad guy from Harry and the Hendersons so I was in.

    The best shows that I watched these last months:

    - The Queen's Gambit;

    - Can You Hear Me (M'entends-tu?) -Canadian show.

    - Pleade Like Me - Australian show.

    All of them on Netflix.

    Imawa no Kuni no Arisu or Alice in Borderland, Japanese drama, eight episodes, available on Netflix.

    Alice in Borderland.jpg

    Arisu (Alice), a listless, jobless and video-game-obsessed young man—suddenly finds himself in a strange, emptied-out version of Tokyo in which he and his friends must compete in dangerous games in order to survive. In this strange world, Arisu meets Usagi, a young woman who’s navigating the games alone. Together, they set out to unravel one mystery after another as they risk their lives and confront what it means to live.

    Just watched an opening episode. We've seen things like this before, but the cast is good (i've seen some before), production value is high and I liked what I saw, so I will continue. And eight episodes is far less commitment than the usual 13 or, Force forbid, 26.

    Shouldn't be as that's the point of doing an alternate space show. It's fun and good for what it is as it's own thing

    Oh, I'm not bashing it. Just teasing. :)
    I should actually get around to watching it someday. Last time I saw it was when I was far younger, so it would be nice to see with eyes anew.

    Delightfully retro, eerily trippy, and a fun time all around, the first two episodes of Wandavision are exactly what was promised.

    The first episode takes place in 50s era sit-coms, while the second one takes place in the 60s. Wandavision does these eras justice, providing the right amount of awkwardness to make me cringe (but still be interested) and my parents laugh. There are hints of what's going on throughout the episodes, but it's been very vague so far, and I like it that way. I'm guessing the third will follow suit until we go through the 2010s, and then we'll stick with the "real world" after that.

    Overall, it's far too early to say whether or not Wandavision is a complete success or failure yet, but so far, I have no complaints.

    EDIT: Before anyone complains about the budget and special effects, remember that Wandavision is trying to match a certain style of television and effects at times. That means things that look slightly off are supposed to look that way.

    I've watched the first two episodes of WandaVision and frankly I was bored. I completely understand what they are going for and why, but it seems it's not currently my speed. The bright spot was Kathryn Hahn.

    I'll wait for the third episode, because apparently that's when things pick up, but we'll see if I continue after that.
