I'm watching Chernobyl on HBO too; a really great show!

I'm also binge watching Knightfall; a mediocre show with high production value, and with some patchy writing to boot (especially in the beginning). The speed with which this show rushes through story beats is exhausting -- like, new characters walking on stage, delivering a plot twist dialogue, and then dies dramatically, is a common thing in this show. That said, season 2 is a bit stronger and Mark Hamill is always a blast (although his Joker voice shines through here and there, heh heh).

We just started watching Stargate SG-1 from the beginning, as my wife had never seen the first half of the series.

I got satellite service in '97 JUST because it was only on Showtime and in 2001, when we started dating is when she started watching it, and was hooked.

I've been watching her watch it, and to see her realize where so many of the later aspects of the show originated is priceless!

Chernobyl on HBO is great. I expect multiple Emmy nominations.

I saw some episodes back in 98 or 99, I don't remember anymore. I also rented the pilote on vhs in 97, I guess.
I would like to watch all episodes and seasons, maybe netflix could buy it as they did with all Star Trek series.

I also very curious to watch Firefly and Babylon 5.

Doom Patrol and Your pretty face is going to Hell and S02 of ONE Punch Man. Doom is the best thing to come out of the DCU.

Started Good Omens. Only two episodes, because I want to savor it, but so far, so good. Sheen and Tennant are brilliant, Hamm is hysterical as dumb/annoying Gabriel, sort of heavenly version of yuppie who cannot see further from his nose.

Watching Sneaky Pete currently on Amazon Prime. I'm in the second season currently and it's a fun/snappy show centered around a con-man. I recommend it for anyone in the market for a new show that isn't super heavy.

Finished Good Omens. I loved it.

The opening credits are work of art.

Michael Shannon and David Tennant are rock stars. I could watch the two of them talking for hours. No need for acting.

Also, Tennant is finally a red head (who understands, understands). And no one, NO ONE, struts like Tennant.

Funny, endearing and topical. Also, God is Frances McDormand.

Currently watching The Name of The Rose (miniseries), staring John Turturro as Sean Connery William of Baskerville, and I like it quite a lot :)

It is VERY similar to the 1986 film in places, and can largely been seen as a homage to that predecessor, but the 8 hour show can also afford to delve deeper into the backstory, politics, and characters, which is cool. The only thing this series lacks, compared to the film, is an awesome score (which the 1986 certainly had!) and Connery's animating charm. (I must confess, I don't remember the Umberto Eco book very well... skimmed it for a school project 25 years ago). As a bonus, however, it is VERY refreshing to see Turturro in a serious role for once :D

I loved this show. Very intense. I finished season 3.

I've been watching Z Nation. Seasons 1-3 are great but seasons 4 and 5 not so much.

Just finished watching this 6 part mini-series.
Absolutely the BEST rendering of a book into a film I have ever seen (it helped a lot that Neil Gaiman held the reigns at ransom that he wouldn't do it if he wasn't allowed to do it exactly as he wanted to, and that he did it in memory of his departed friend Terry Pratchett who was his co-author).

    Brilliantly fun show!

With my beloved @RockyRoadHux, I'm currently watching Veronica Mars, Supernatural and Game Of Thrones.

I've never watched Veronica Mars before and I'm really enyoing it. I've watched Supernatural and GOT (4 seasons) back then though. I was actually a huge fan of the early seasons of Supernatural, so it's fun to rewatch this show now.

    Yay!

Strait-laced angel Aziraphale's saying F*CK with feeling was one of the smaller highlights for me, I couldn't catch my breath, I was laughing so hard.

We binged Good Omens a few weeks ago- absolutely fantastic series.

We're working on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills now. No judgement, please allow me my trash.
