So there have only been rumors thus far about what the first spinoff movie will be, but if you had to pick, what would you like to see first, or the most?

I personally would love an Obi Wan film with Ewan, since we already know he's capable of the role and there's some great areas to explore between PT and OT.

Boba Fett might be interesting but it would kinda ironic to have an entire movie dedicated to him knowing his ultimate fate. I can kinda see him just being part of another story such as Han Solos.

At first I wanted to say Obi Wan. But while a Western-Style movie about him on Tatooine could be interesting, I also feel like it has a chance to fall flat and feel small and unimportant next to the rest of the saga.

I like a Boba Fett spin off because it could be a chance to see first hand what the galaxy is like under the rule of the Empire, particularly the dark underbelly of the galaxy at that time. Plus some awesome Bounty Hunter action is always a good thing.

One not written by Chris Weitz. That's for sure.

I would rather have something new, but if i had to pick out of that list i would have to go with Lando. You could fit Han and Boba in it as small parts and have a good amount of new characters.

Here's what should happen in my opinion.

Spin-off 1: Boba Fett/Han Solo - Han Solo (Anthony Ingruber) is a young soldier in the imperial army. His superiors send him after bounty hunter Cad Bane because he has been knocking off Imperial officers for high paying bounties, from mainly Black Sun but also the Hutt cartels. Along the way, Undercover, Han encounters the Mandalorian bounty hunter Boba Fett (Daniel Logan) and his team; IG-88, Bossk, Arra Sing, and Dengar (Simon Pegg). Han and Fett work together to bring in Cad Bane for the Empire. Han gets promoted but he has one final test. He must execute a Wookiee slave named Chewbacca who has been unruly. Han refuses and ditches the Stormtrooper corps. Han and his new partner lay low for a night and meet a friend of Han's by the name of Lando Calrissian in a cantina on Lothal. They need to get off world and Calrissian is betting a piece of crap Corellian freighter in a game of sabaac. Han cheats and wins the ship and flees the planet Lothal with Chewbacca leaving Calrissian on Lothal.
The movie would start at the imperial academy on Lothal, and take the viewer on a journey of the galaxy to places like Nar Shadda, Tatooine, and others as Solo and Fett track down Cad Bane. It would take place during the time of Star Wars: Rebels. The Ghost crew would be Easter eggs in the background of the Cantina scene, setting up Lando's episode in Rebels. I'm not sure who would portray young Lando though. Any suggestions?

Spin-off 2: Rebels - Features the Ghost Crew stealing the Death Star plans and turning them over to the Rebel Alliance. Hera, Sabine, Zeb, and C1-10P would go on to join the Alliance, while Ezra and Kanan sacrifice themselves to save their friends in a grand battle against the Inquisitor.

Spin-off 3: Kenobi - Obi-Wan Kenobi (Ewan McGreggor) has left his name behind him going now by Ben. A few years have gone by, keeping an eye on the young Luke Skywalker from afar. Tensions have risen between Owen Lars (Joel Edgerton) and Ben after a Sand People attack almost left Luke dead. Ben has been communing with his old master, Qui-Gon Jinn (Liam Neeson as a Force ghost) and learning the secrets of the Whills. All has been quiet on Tatooine until one day while out for supplies, Ben encounters an enemy from his past, Maul (Ray Park/Sam Witwer). Maul has been successful in fleeing the Emperor and has been tracking down Kenobi for years. Unarmed, Ben makes haste back to his home to find his lightsaber. With Maul fast on his trail he gets home to find his Jedi weapon. Emerging from his house, Maul has young Luke Skywalker, unconscious tied up to his speeder. Maul activates his lightsaber. "At last I have found you Kenobi. At last I will have revenge!" After a long ensuing battle out in the Jundland Wastes, Ben emerges victorious, killing Maul, once and for all. He takes the awakening Luke home and tries to give Anakin's lightsaber to him, but Owen rushes out of the homestead and gets into a screaming match with Ben. Once it is settled, thanks to Ben's Jedi mind trick on Owen. Ben leaves to continue to watch Luke from afar.

I'm excited for the possibility of an Obi-Wan spinoff with Ewan appearing again, but as others have said, it might fall flat. Given the subject matter, it would probably mostly be slow with a few moments of intense action. Which is fine, many of the greatest films are full of slow portions by today's impatient standards. I just feel it's not good to open with that.

Either of the Han Solo or the Boba Fett films seem a better opening act, and in my view would provide the greatest options to reintroduce us to old characters with their new actors (Lando for instance) as well as make us just a little bit more familiar with other relevant characters that we never saw much of (Greedo, Dengar, other folks). Basically those two films, or one Solo/Fett combined even, would provide the best transition into some other spinoffs.

Going for a single focus though, I'd have to say Fett. They'd be able to rope prospective fans in with the coolness factor, as well as resolve some issues some fans had with his PT representation.

I really like the idea of bringing Cad Bane into the films. He was a very good character.

I'm not really interested in any of those options. I'd like to see something fresh and different. And, most importantly, it needs to be Star Wars-ish in tone and character; keep it light and fun.

I would love an Obi Wan spin off. I've mentioned my story idea before but I'll repeat it.

Three of the last living Jedi track Obi wan down on Tatooine. At this point Obi wan has become very cynical of the Galaxy and the force and has all but rejected his Jedi ways. The jedi recruit him to be part of an assassination attempt on the emperor. The four Jedi set out across the galaxy to kill the emperor and hopefully plead their case to what is left of the senate, perhaps beginning to set right what went wrong.

Little do they know, Darth Vader has gotten wind of their plot, and is on their tail. Only Vader doesn't know Obi wan is with them. Through many wild chase scenes and battles, it all comes down to Vader dispatching the three Jedi and another showdown between Vader and Obi wan. Vader is clearly the superior fighter and Obi wan barely gets away with his life. During the course of the fight Obi wan feels glimpses of Anakin. Obi wan tries to reason with Vader and tells him he knows Anakin is not lost. At the end of the film there is a conversation through the force between Yoda and Obi wan about how Obi wan believes there is still good in Vader. Yoda is firm when he says Anakin skywalker is dead and that Obi wan must forget him.

The final scene of the film would be the first time Obi wan meets Luke. A child Luke crashes his T-16 while shooting Womp rats. Obi wan helps him repair it as Luke complains his uncle is going to kill him. The final shot of the film is Obi wan watching Luke fly off into the twin sunset.

I like it. The only thing is in IV Vader says to Obi Wan that last time they met he was but the learner, now he's the master, which was true if the last time they met was the duel in episode 3. If they met and fought again between 3 and 4 it wouldn't make sense for him to say that.

I can see a completely new story based on none of the above, but they wouldn't do it until way in the future after they've cashed in on famous characters.

I'am going for Knights of the Old Republic, new faces and stories could be told.
Then Han Solo and Boba Fett spin off.

Here's my problem with Han Solo... I do not want to see anyone besides Harrison Ford portraying that character. I would prefer they use the upcoming video game to tell Han's story and use the second anthology for something else.
I would really like to see a canon story on how Yoda become so powerful. It would take place in a very unexplained time period which I find interesting. I'd also love an Obi Wan spinoff. Another thought I've had is a spin off about Master Cipher Dias(sp?) the Jedi master who ordered the clones. Did Palpatine pose as Master Dias and order the clones as part of a master plan or did Cipher Dias fall to the dark side? I would be interested in this
