What stories should be turned into anthology films?

Thrown is gone though so I doubt he would get a movie. Any movie about The Old Republic time would be great-. Darth Bane movie? Yes please.

The way I see it the Old Republic era has the most chance of transitioning into the new Canon as it doesn't impact post ROTJ content. Hopefully this era will make a comeback. I would even be satisfied if they made a movie in the style of the trailers for the Old Republic MMORPG.

Obi-Wans Monthly Shopping Trips To Mos Eisley Walmart.

Seriously though, how about a nice slow paced film spread across 19 missing years about how Obi-Wan Kenobi adapts from being a younger man into an older man. Feature his trips into Mos Eisley, Anchorhead or other such towns. He seems to be known by Leia Organa and the Rebellion, feature on that relationship a little. And of course, keeping an eye on Luke Skywalker from a distance, perhaps an occasional argument between Owen Lars and Obi-Wan ?

 

Owen: Anakin died thanks to your damn fool idealistic crusades! I can't allow the same to happen to Luke!

 

You are never going to see that and I'd want to see a movie with Shmi Skywalker as the main character.

It would explore Shmi Skywalker as the main protagonist in the beginning of the movie. What struggles she went through.

Instead of living on Tattooine, Shmi Skywalker is actually a prominent member of The Skywalker crime family (think Sopranos and/or Godfather). She is probably in her mid-20s at this point. She works mainly as an enforcer in the seedy underground parts of Coruscant and lives a cushy life. Because of this, she knows how to fight, is a good pilot, etc.

One day, The Hutts and the other crime families want to get rid of The Skywalkersso The Hutts hire criminals and other organized crime members kill of the entire Skywalker Family and Shmi survives with barely her life.

Meanwhile, there are two young Jedi named Quinlan Vos and Mace Windu. Because of the influence of The Skywalkers, these two are sent to rescue Shmi as a part of the last bit of their Jedi Trials.

While all of this is going on, Plageuis and Palpatine are watching from the shadows. Plagueis reveals his plans to his apprentice that he has sense great potential in Shmi Skywalker and he wants to create the ultimate embodiment of the dark side. Palpatine is secretly disgruntled and paranoid at the potential of being usurped by his master's own creation and starts planning on killing Plageuis in his sleep.

On Tatooine, Shmi Skywalker is presented to the main council of The Hutts. They debate whether to kill her. Suddenly, Mace Windu and Quinlan Vos jump in and try to save Shmi. As the Hutts watch, the two young Jedi (both late-20s) fight against old-school magma guards and semi uses one of their weapons to kill one of The Hutts and runs. Made Windu and Quinlan Avis pull back. As they're leaving, they find a box of Sith artifacts that they take with them, which contains a purple crystal that belonged to an ancient Sith Lord .

Shmi escapes and runs outside (revealed to be Jabba's Palace from ROTJ) and she doesn't know where she is and all she can see is desert and heat . She gets recaptured but starts feeling stomach pains.

Palpatind feels an awakening in the force and knows that Anakin Skywalker is coming...we see his eyes turn red like Analonin ROTS.

The Hutts decide not to kill her when the find that she's pregnant and decide to make her Gardula the Hutg's slave since she killed her brother. Shmi, feeling defeated and tired and pregnant she vows revenge on The Hutts one day and to get her child off of Tattooine...

 

I'd prefer it if Palpatine influences the Hutts to want to get rid of the Skywalkers because he's afraid of them finding out that the Sith aren't extinct. This way the Sith would fit into the movie better and it would be all the more satisfying when the Skywalkers finally destroy Palpatine all those years later high above a forest moon.

 

And also because he doesn't want to be threatened and replaced and he's trying to prevent his master from CREATEONG ANAKIN SKYWALKER but fails, which is why he's surprised in TPM that Anakin is alive and already so powerful, which is why he watches over him and seduces him and the. Also tries to seduce his son Luke Skywalker.

 

I never thought of that, but that's a good idea.

 

Yeah Palpatine basically takes up Plageuis's mission for himself as his own .

 

Something else that I've read that would be cool would be if at first Gardulla is the dominant Hutt but she proves to be difficult for the Sith to manipulate so Plagueis and/or Palpatine help Jabba overtake her as the dominant Hutt.

 

The only issue is that Analin Skywalker specifically states in TPM that Gardula lost him and Shmi in a bet at some time before TPM .

 

How is that in conflict with what I said?

 

I thought you were implying that that was how Jabba acquired Analin and Shmi .

I would love a Skywlaker/Scarface movie with underworld gangsters, but i must pick another lead because Shmi didn't show any Charisma or action driven energy, why not Padmé? (your plot is not bad at all, i would buy a ticket for that)

I want to see other characters and know other regions of the galaxy, i think it's time to move on and forget about the Skywalkers.

On other hand a character i really like and could be in a movie is Kyle Katarn.

But if Disney run out of ideas to produce Star Wars Movies, please just do this......



.... and tell the stories of Cade Skywalker, Shado Vao, Darth Talon, Wolf Sazen, Antares Draco, Darth Krayt, Darth Nihl, Roan Fel, Deliah Blue, and others.

 

Padmé would be a toddler during the time it's set in...and they would never give up and stay start making OLD-EU movies and stuff after they got rid of it .
