SPECULATION What will be the LAST picture of Rogue One?

I believe we will see an Olympic torch style handoff of the Death Star plans from Rogue One to the leader of Rogue Two -- specifically a young Lando Calrissian played by Jaden Smith. There will be three Rogue films before we see the Tantive IV in the closing shot of Rogue Three.

 

Jaden is too young to be Lando. I'd guess Michael B. Jordan to be Rogue Two.

 

If I had my bets right now, I would put credits on Donald Glover playing a younger Lando.

 

Wesley Snipe's going to play a young Lando Calrissian .

Denzel Washington for young Mace Windu too .

 

I think it would be super cool to see Darth Vader gazing into space and in the reflection of his helmet you can see the Tantive trying to escape.

 

Agreed Jyn giving death star plans to that clumsy fool, no chance.

 

Didn't someone come out and say that it would end minutes before the start of ANH?

 

Maybe the last 10 or so minutes would be jyn & co. and Vader racing to find the tantive IV first but vader gets there first, blows the rebels out of the sky and captures the ship with the last picture beingVader getting ready to board the tantive
.

 

Not that I heard of.

 

A cut to a certain Princesses' quarters aboard the Tantive IV where we will see the the plans which were retrieved. Possibly with Billie Lourd dressed as Leia with her back turned.

 

Jaden Smith is WAAAYYY too young .

Also I still want to think that the last shot will be something of Vader aboard the star destroyer that's chasing the rebels in the oening shot of ANH and if so then could that be the scene of him in the trailer
? .

 

I think the shot of Vader in the trailer is going to be one of the last shots in the movie. He looks like he's looking at a map/radar-like screen which we see in all of the command centers. I think this shot is right before he says something like "That's it! On that freighter. Captain, prepare a boarding party."

 

But Luke....How is this possible???.....

 

lol. I think he's trying to relive his "Glory Days" from ANH.

 

Good thing he still fits in it .

 

I think it's going to be the Tantive IV heading into hyperspace after picking up the plans. I really don't see any other way that will be thematically fitting.

 

Saw this thinking ''I'm Luke Skywalker I'm hear to rescue you'' all over again, I destroyed you now I'm here to save you.

 

I feel that Jyn will be this E.U.'s Mara Jade. She will actually be an imperial double agent who eventually comes around to be sympathetic to Luke and the Rebels. I think the last shot will be Jyn kneeling before Vader in a bacta tank saying to him that despite her best efforts the death star plans made it to the rebels. Vader will call her a failure and berate her and say he will go deal with princess leia himself. We will get a final shot of a clearly conflicted Jyn with a hood up looking solemn because she knows she betrayed her friends and what is good in the universe.
