    I feel like she was probably discovered to be force sensitive by Vader or the Emperor while her dad worked on the Death Star. She has probably been in training with them since childhood and just like Mara is controlled more through brainwashing / fear.

    The idea that Jyn is the new Mara crossed my mind. But I hadn't thought that the movie could end with her still being an Imperial. Neat idea!

    It literally JUST hit me that Rogue Squadron could be named in honor of Rogue One (the call-sign) which to me is the ultimate in 'cool' retcon.

    The Tantive IV leaving the hyperspace near Tatooine. More or less the way Halo Reach ended, in front of the original one.
